Which? Bat several back and forth with us. I'm going 10, 4, 5 this time, in that order.

I feel like it could be almost any of these. With my bets on 10, 2 or 4. I have never felt so bipolar as I do with this case.

I've been reading for a few days and started at the beginning. A few facts stick with me:

"on prior calls to the Papini home", sheriff states there's "nothing recent and nothing major". Will get that info to the media.

https://twitter.com/seanlongoria_RS

Was there ever anymore information about this? I've looked in the call logs, but they are massive and haven't found anything in the last year.

http://www.brettandemilyphoto.com/2...-we-heart-you-san-diego-wedding-photographer/

What a gorgeous wedding! I can't help but notice the detail and obvious expense. Beautiful. And now they are living on what seems to be the hourly salary of KP in a rent free small home. Sounds like SP had a good job with AT& T in the past. I'm surely not trying to criticize - folks can live how they choose. I'm noticing what could be a drastic change in lifestyle.

If find it a little odd that a FB page is shared. It's FREE! I have middle-aged married friends who share a FB page. Weird - but husband is more than controlling. This is one thing that really makes me SMH.

I could also mention the find my phone app, but in today's world, that can be a valued safety plus.

Some folks here have asked when SP's family last spoke with or saw her. I'm with you I'd like to know the answer to that, as well.

Just a random fact - when victims of domestic abuse are counseled about safety plans and leaving their abusers, they are typically advised to stash money, clothes, important documents and a phone in preparation for their departure. They are advised to do this over time and in a very mindful manner, so as not to raise any suspicion. We also know that victims include those who are controlled through money, monitoring whereabouts, restricting friends, religion, etc.

- Yeah, details on prior calls were never given out. Sounds like there was at least one, it was just not 'major.'

- Weddings are often paid for by one or more of the parents.

- I read recently that the most common reason for a woman to go voluntarily missing is a danger to herself. Interesting. No sign of that here, imho, but still, interesting.

Just a different way of looking at the same possibilities...

Wilfully missing - suicide
Wilfully missing - starting a new life
Wilfully missing - Hoax
Wilfully missing - Witness protection

Wedding - Yes. Customary for parents of the bride to pay expenses of wedding, which is my point. I think the wedding is indicative of SP's comfortable lifestyle prior to marriage.

Wow. This guy screams suspect to me!

I'm sure LE will have a close look at this guy. (Who was caught stalking multiple women.)

He was arrested some 18 miles to the South of where the phone was found, by the way. Sounds like most of his activity was in that area as well (Anderson). But you never know...

I do notice the GoFundMe page was created 2 days after Sherri was missing by KP on behalf of his sister. I wonder how people came up with the 50k goal. I know searches can be expensive but they have been called off.

Has it been reported that the PI is not working for them?

15. Mistaken identity

15. Wrong place, wrong time. Saw something she shouldn't have seen. Hold this thought, I'll post about it when I figure out how to link.

Can we find out why he was on probation?

Just a thought in reference to your last paragraph ... would a mother leave her children in the care of an abuser?

Initially, a friend was listed as creating the GoFundMe Page. The name was changed to KP fairly recently

Bring her home. Bring her home. Just bring her home. Please bring her home. Bring her home. Bring her home safe. Bring her back home.
Why is no one asking for her to be let go?
(Semantics, I get it. But it's driving me mad!:gaah:)
Imo it's been a long time since she disappeared...I think it's very rare for abductors to keep their victims. It's more likely he's already dumped her body. Or she's sipping Bahama mama's on a beach

Venturing down the path that she voluntarily left:

FIL states:
"The pre-school/day care is open until 5:30pm. Although Sherri usually picked them up at 3:30 there was no requirement for her to do so, so no call was sent from the pre-school. I’m Keith and Sherri’s father in law. Keith called his mom when he got home and Sherri and the kids were not. She called me and then went to get the kids while Keith searched for Sherri. When he found her phone he called the police, then called his Mom who was enroute to pick up the kids; she relayed the news to me and I headed over to Keith’s house also. Keith’s Mom arrived at the house with the kids, and then I arrived just ahead of the Sheriff’s (4 vehicles) who were trying to find the address in the rural area where they live. Keith’s mom and I have been taking care of the kids since then, as Keith has been working night and day trying to find Sherri and working with police, private investigators and volunteer searchers.

Keith is working full time at Best Buy, is a regional home theater specialist and is paid quite well. Both Keith’s mom and I are fairly affluent and if they needed money we would of helped without question. We also spend a lot of time with Keith, Sherri and the kids each week and are a very close family; we spent a week with them in early October, as we do every year, as that is the anniversary of their wedding..

Keith’s vehicle has gps tracking. Both his work and personal cell phone pings were tracked for the day of the disappearance. Every customer he visited that day confirmed Keith’s whereabouts. Keith requested the lie polygraph test 4 days before it was administered and passed it 100%.

Sherri is the most devoted mother I’ve ever seen. No way she walks out on those children. 2 days before she left a voicemail (which we have) asking if she could make the sweet potatoes for Thanksgiving as she has a special recipe to prepare them “the way the kids like them”. That same day, Halloween, she commented how much fan she had trick or treating in our neighborhood and that we would do this again every year.

By the way, Keith has lived in that house for over 20 years, as it was his parent’s home and is now owned by his Mom after they were divorced about 14 years ago."

>>>>>

Sherri and Keith live in a house owned by Keith's mom.

SP's mom facebooked about her daughter's disappearance around 8:30 Thursday morning. Do we know when she was first alerted to everything? She makes a post about the Cubs winning, and that must have been late on November 2, so idk.

FIL states he and Keith's mom have been taking care of the kids ever since day one of her disappearance.

FIL states they are affluent.

And finally, FIL states they take care of the children every Saturday.

Praying for Sherri.

The kids are what keep me from thinking this was a willful disappearance....unless it's a hoax and she will reappear.

I know moms sometimes leave their kids, but I don't think Sherri did.

I hope I'm wrong but I say:

4
15 ( someone who knew of her, watched/stalked her, waiting for an opportunity but she didn't know them)
3

Again, I hope I'm wrong.

SOS I can't find Sherri's personal FB page. I know all my super sleuth points have been revoked. Can anybody help?

  • #977

Yes. Abusers often use children as pawns or threaten their safety - like when a mother says she's going to leave and take the children the abuser might threaten them. It's also a reason women sometimes stay in abusive relationships. The idea of being a single parent might also be too much.

It happens, but IMO that's not what happened here. I'm not pointing fingers at KP.

Sounds like you can make a country song out of this log lololol
I'm curious who all these people are that I've underlined? Not to profile them but just curious since it seems to show they made a report RPT

That's... interesting. On top of 2-3 days per week in daycare.
