Friday, March 21st:
*Trial: Long Cause (Divorce) (@ 8:30am PT) – CA – Sherri Louise Papini (39/now 42) vs. Keith Papini (38/now 40) Divorce case filed April, 2022. Shasta County
Keith has already won a series of legal battles in the divorce – including having his ex-wife declared an ‘unfit parent’ & gaining sole legal & physical custody of T & V. Papini is allowed only supervised visits with the children which take place at a court building in Redding & voice & video calls at Keith’s discretion.
On March 3, 2022, Sherri Papini was arrested by the FBI, accused of lying to federal agents & faking her kidnapping to spend time with her ex-boyfriend, away from her husband & family. Six weeks after her arrest, Papini signed a plea deal admitting that she had orchestrated the hoax. In September, 2022, she was sentenced to 18 months in prison & fined $300,000. Papini was released from prison in August, 2023 & placed in a halfway house. In April, 2022, a few days after Sherri pleaded guilty to fraud charges, Keith filed for divorce from his wife & for sole custody of their children. Trial began on 10/31/23 & ended same day.
Trial set to begin on 3/21/25.
Judge Kathryn J. Barton presiding. Keith’s defense attorney Conard Manuel of Manuel & Tescher retained. Sherri’s defense attorneys Kinney & Kinney.

Exactly. Sorry, just gotta say it...if her children were her "focus", why did she run away with some guy for a fling?! Sorry, that is not what caring Mothers do...and put her children through the trauma of her missing, coming home a kidnap "victim".

She has a lot of mental health issues. She lost the privilege of parenting with her behavior.

SP has displayed serious mental health issues imo. Poor judgment, violence, self mutilation, lies, and media attention outrageous behaviors. She literally left her children, having people believe she was kidnapped, putting her children thru terror about their mommy, came back in the middle of the night chained and beaten, again putting her children thru further trauma. There is no way in heck I would trust her to be of sound mind and to protect her children from harm, mental and physical. She has proven herself to be her own children's nightmare. IMO she should have her rparental ights taken away. She is dangerous to her children's well being.

Can there be a more ridiculous statement? The "events" that transpired were of her own making!! She's a liar if she thinks anyone believes that her children have always been her primary focus. Surely she won't be permitted to do more damage to her children. The media wouldn't even know their last name if it weren't because of Sherri.

And this is not making light of those with mental health or other challenges, that are worthy of consideration and deserving of empathy and compassion. This individual, SP has IMO proven what her true self is. Over and over. So unfortunate for the ex husband and children. Seems that IMO the camera spotlight needs to be extinguished from her presence. SMH. MOO
