Yes, this could well be. Also, it could be possible that there was more than 1 person...MOO

Very true...and, we have a tendency to always believe it's a male but, what if it was 2 females who weren't exactly thrilled with her for one reason or another? Not saying that it was but, our minds do tend to go to male.

By the way...I am so new to this forum that I haven't learned the lingo yet fully so, when I saw "MOO" at the end of each of your posts, I thought it was a signature sign-off with a humorous twist. I now realize that it's "My Own Opinion" :floorlaugh: @ myself

"Forensic tests and the family confirmed that these items belong to the girl. Investigators will discuss exactly what those items are during a news conference at 10 a.m."

So, that's 1 p.m. for me.

Or they were always a villian and this was premeditated. I think alot of young people incorrectly think if they've met someone at least once they are no longer a stranger and not dangerous. Looking back I was that way too.

OH, I meant what you said. I was not clear, What I meant was that they allowed Sierra to see them going from 'friend' to villain so quickly. I do think it would have been premeditated on their part, Like an older boy/s who acted like friends just to get her alone.

I want to know more about the mom's boyfriend. Reports have said that he was gone by 6am that morning. Does he work close? Could he have gone back home after initially leaving that morning?

Reports also say that she was living with her father in Fremont until she moved in October. This seems odd. Normally teenage girls would choose their same sex parent in the event of a divorce. Knowing the molestation conviction, why would the mother allow her daughter to stay with the father? Why did she all of a sudden have to move with the mother? Did Sierra and her mother get along? Was she having problems in Fremont? By all accounts she was involved in school activities and so far no signs of trouble in Fremont. I'm curious about the move.

At this time I dont suspect the boyfriend of the mother's or even her father who is a registered SO.

This is someone Sierra knew and she trusted enough to get into their vehicle such as a young person more her age or a little older.

Or this is another stranger abduction where they saw a vulnerable pretty girl alone and acted on the opportunity. It certainly wouldnt be the first case where a teen was abducted by a stranger for sexual purposes and then murdered.

I know we like to think that no teen could be lured to get in a car with a stranger but we have seen countless cases where that has happened. Whether it was someone known to her via in real life or on the internet or a stranger they most likely had stalked her and knew her daily schedule.

I hate the thought that they have found an item of Sierra's that is important enough to bring the FBI back to the scene but if she has been murdered then the sooner they can find her and bring her back home to her family then the quicker justice can be served against the one that has harmed her.

If she is dead everyday she is out there means more evidence can be lost.

On the home page photos of Sierra, the big school pic doesn't look anything
like the girl in the Missing Poster.

Is that supposed to be her?

It's possible that the person driving, wasn't going the route that she would have thought to have gone to get to school and started asking questions and possibly, taking out her cell phone. At that point, it may have become apparent to her that it wasn't a "friendly drive" at all and, the person driving, grabbed the phone from her and tossed it out the window or forced her to do it???

THAT^^^^ sounds quite possible because the phone was found the opposite direction of her bus stop. So maybe she did realize it really quickly. I wonder if there was more than one perp. I think there had to be.

The night before Sierra disappeared, Danielle LaMar left Sacramento State for spring break and joined her father at his Fremont townhouse. On their way back from dinner, Sierra, a 5-foot-2-inch brunette, called. They put her on speakerphone.
"She was talking about how she wanted to get her hair done the next time she went to Fremont. She wanted to add some blond streaks," Danielle LaMar said.

I dont know if it is more than one perp. We have seen what one person alone is capable of doing.

But I do agree with you about it being a young male. In his teens or maybe a little older.

The item was found in a "secreted area " It was hidden ? Sounds like someone who knew the immediate area ? Neighbor ? Or someone closer still ?

Quote:
This is an incident actually going from 1998 to 2004.

COSBY: Wait, wait, wait! An incident? That sounds like repeated incidents.

JOSTAD: A continued -- right, continuing incident. He was actually charged with 12 counts of lewd or lascivious behavior with a child under 14. He pled no contest...

COSBY: This is Sierra`s father?

JOSTAD: Correct. This is her father. He pled guilty to one of those counts. He served under a year in jail for it. He is now required to register as a sex offender. He does appear on the registry.

O/T, but I know of him having gone to UC Santa Cruz (30 years after his spree). You'd think that would stop girls from hitchhiking in the area, but it still happened all the time while I was a student....

I worked on wing he lives on while incarcerated.

I am shocked at the number of people that don't know him..why is that? Now I can understand his frustration. He used to complain about Manson, who never killed anyone, and got all the press. This guy is one of the worst serial killers in history, yet nobody knows about him. The fact that two of you from Santa Cruz didn't know about this validates his statement...

If you could read his file and see what he REALLY did, you would faint.

Recently there was his story on the one of the "Investigator" shows. He is very interesting and very intelligent.
