I can't believe nobody here has a comment to make about the Sierra poster red car pic being changed. It was a facsimile all over red car at first. Instead of changing it to the new pic available, they just cynically photoshopped the hood black.

I've never posted a pic before. Hope this works.

It would be very useful to know WHY Sierra was pulled out of her Fremont high school. This information was likely shared with LE, but it would be helpful for others searching for Sierra. If this information was withheld to protect Sierra or her family from embarrassment it was a terrible mistake, IMO.

Thanks for posting that. It is also interesting that LE states "during the month of March". Who would only drive a car for one month? Was this a car shared by several people? Was it stolen and then dumped? Notice that LE believes the car has been in two counties. What is in San Benito County? (Serra's old high school is in Alameda County. Watsonville is in Santa Cruz County. Walnut Creek, Ca is in Contra Costa County. ) Were their other recent abduction attempts in San Benito County?

YW.

I think they are trying to get some idea where the perp could have taken Sierra if LE thinks she is alive somewhere. They would want people to come forward if they saw this particular car keep returning to a certain area after she disappeared, imo.

They also want to know if this car was seen in the area before Sierra was abducted in order to maybe find more video footage and see if it was in any places where Sierra may have been at the time ...like a mall....fast food place, etc.

When LE first came out they just put out a generic version of the Jetta. Imo, they did not want to release the actual photo at that time. They wanted people to call in if they had spotted this car and then IMO, would ask them to describe it and if they said it had a sunroof and distinct rims on it they would know most likely this was the Jetta that LE has impounded.

So before the media put out the actual photo of the vehicle that was the photo being released.

how do we know that Sierra was "pulled" from her school for any reason other than her mother moved? :waitasec:

jmhoo but I think if LE thought sharing that info with the public was helpful they would have done so :twocents:

You are right, nurse. We dont and that is just speculation. Countless families move. When I was 15 we moved in December to another county because my dad wanted a home in a more rural area rather than in the city.

I don't know, but apparently school buses have security cameras that record inside and outside the bus.

You know I never thought about that in this case until it was mentioned but yes they do and I think they caught footage of this Jetta in Sierra's area.

I am so curious as to where they found this car and who it belongs to. Looks like a car a teenager would drive. MO

  • #687
That car looks like a car a young hood would drive. Not someone that would be older. I hope they find her soon.

I agree. Definetly a teen.

  • #689
But if she was abducted by teen(s)...I can't imagine they would have a place, not to mention the mentality, to keep her alive and secured for two months...she might have a slightly better chance if she is with some psycho stalker...JMO

I get that.
But, you don't have a problem with photoshopping the hood black?
The media (or whoever) just changing a pic of a car that isn't even THE car.
A slippery slope, to me.

That don't bother you?

I have a saved pic on another site of the same car with the hood RED.
But, like this one, I can't post a link you can see.

AmandaReconwith, do you have both versions?

Just logging on and I saw your post and picture. Why do you think it is photoshopped? Did they say that? tia

I think they found this car really quickly, which means it must have been in the neighborhood still or belonged to someone known to the neighborhood....or it was abandoned. I am hoping they found it with the driver. I hope they caught this person off guard too.

It does bother me but the media knew it had a black hood and didnt have the actual photo of the Jetta so they did the best they could to replicate it.

I think so too because didnt Cardoza say they still think it is someone that knows the MH area well?

I think LE has had the car for sometime but needed more people to come forward telling them when and where they saw this particular car.

Why do some abductors use red cars I wonder? The other two attempted abductions around the time Sierra was abducted was a man in a red sedan and Joesph Duncan drove a bright red Jeep Cherokee when he kidnapped Shasta and Dylan.

Is it they think they are so bold that they can even do it in a car that stands out?

That has always fasinated me.

Here's the car that LE said "resembled" the one in question. This is how it looked on the flier as of yesterday.

She is in great danger either way. When teen males and older adult males abduct a female girl it is for sexual purposes. So many times in recent years they will kill the victim just so they dont leave a witness behind.

If it is a teen he may have a campsite in the woods and ties her up when he leaves or his family could have a remote cabin somewhere or even in an abandon shack somewhere in the area.

Now if this person lives in the area he could have her hidden in the basement somewhere like that 🤬🤬🤬 did with Jaycee Duggard. The police may not have even realized it had a secret basement as the walls can be falisified to hide there is one.

Thank you Sorrell!!

It makes you wonder what else gets "fixed" on news stories to suit, don't it?

:seeya: Jumping off your post here :

This is JMO ... but IF -- IF she was abducted by "teen(s)", IMO they would not "think" to put the "school books" AND the "JC Handbag with the neatly folded clothes in it" where they were located ...

The books and handbag IMO were "staged" ...

Now, throwing the Cell Phone "out the window", maybe ... but "neatly folding her clothes", nope ...

All JMO and :moo:

Ok, I can put this one to rest. In regards to the hood on the flyer, there is nothing cynical about it. I am the one who took the original flyer and photoshopped it early yesterday morning and distributed it out to the media so that the would have a more accurate visual of what everyone was supposed to be on the lookout for. This was done before the news that the car was found. That's it. Just turns out that about 3 hours after I did it LE announced they had found it.

:seeya:

Snipped & RBBM: The word "Resembled" caught my attention :

JMO and MOO ... but is it possible that this "red vehicle" had "nothing" to do with Sierra's disappearance, and LE is "trying" to make "something" fit that really does NOT fit ?

You know ... like making a "square peg fit into a round hole" ?

I still find it "odd" that this info about this "red vehicle" was released almost 2 months later ... I know ... tips come in weeks, months and years later ...

I wonder if LE is "stalled" and this is all they have to go on ?
