Who knows anything about Santeria?
Could his drawing have something to do with the Santeria religious practices?
I ask because he has "Fat 13" the pentagram and other symbols.

Searching "fat 13" brings this (among other things):
http://bible.cc/exodus/29-13.htm
13 is mentioned a lot in Santeria.

This shows a "pentagram" ring and discusses the "evil eye".

Athame with black sheath (dagger/knife in his pic?)

I have tried reading whatever is in the writing and can not decipher it as yet.
The first word does appear to say something like Santeria but possibly misspelled.
I have even tried reading it in the mirror backwards.

I'll see what I can do with it on the big screen TV tomorrow.

I wish we had pictures of his tatts...

Could this explain the horns on the drawing of the head on the left of the page?

Mara Salvatrucha - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Gang markings and hand signs

"An MS gang sign and tattoos.
Many Mara Salvatrucha members cover themselves in tattoos. Common markings include "MS", "Salvatrucha", the "Devil Horns", the name of their clique, and other symbols.[39] A December 2007 CNN internet news article stated that the gang was moving away from the tattoos in an attempt to commit crimes without being noticed.[40]

Members of Mara Salvatrucha, like members of most modern American gangs, utilize a system of hand signs for purposes of identification and communication. One of the most commonly displayed is the "devil's head" which forms an 'M' when displayed upside down. This hand sign is similar to the same symbol commonly seen displayed by heavy metal musicians and their fans. Founders of Mara Salvatrucha borrowed the hand sign after attending concerts of heavy metal bands.[41]"

"Lucky7" reference?

http://alocubano.com/santeria.htm

"As cited earlier in this paper, the orishas, or the manifestations of the gods, number less than two dozen in Santería. Among them there are seven that are considered principle orishas. These are the seven that can be "seated" in the head of a santero. They are Obatalá, Elegguá, Chango, Ogun, Oshún, Yemaya, and Oya. In addition, Ifa, who chooses the babaloa, can also possess the santero. There are other orishas that, while not worshipped to the extent of the "siete potencias," can be received by the santero. They are not "seated" in the head. Only a principle orisha can control the devotee. However, there are others that are received for the purposes of the other seven. They are known as "nature spirits" and are referred to as minor orishas. Other orishas are received and, unlike the minor orishas, are worshipped, but not "seated." Santeros believe that their ashé cannot be contained within the head because in the case of some it is too powerful, or too immature and unpredictable in regard to others."

Mark Gergagos?? :what:

Baez likes to mingle in the Hispanic culture. :jail: They better not let that &^&^ practice here in California.

Great idea!! :jail: and TOTALLY agree!

I totally agree with you - total waste of oxygen! And now we in California have to vote AGAIN whether we want the death penalty??!! Excuse me - how many times do we have to vote for this??!! :maddening:[/font]

It doesn't matter what we vote for, they will appeal it. The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals is a disgrace. I refer to it as the Ninth Circus Court of Appeals..because it is a farce. The DP is on hold AGAIN. Some people say it is cruel and unusual punishement (the needle). Personally, I prefer a firing squad, but I digress. Anyway, it is on hold again. Prisoners die from old age before they are ever put to death. So bargaining with that in mind doesn't work here.

If you want the death penalty, you are a bad person. Heck, I had one gal tell me there should be no prison either. There should be people hired to watch them on the outside. I just about lost it. Sometimes there are just no words. She was dead serious. It's kind of scarey to talk to people out here about prisoners. :jail: death penalty and politics in general.

Hi Katy, I thought MS13 was a central american gang that originated in LA? It spread to Mexico but isn't mexican in origin. Pretty ugly stuff there.

not directed at katy.

I'm trying to follow the Santeria which I thought was a caribbean religion? At least that has always been my understanding of Santeria.

I dont' see how the two intersect?

Sorry for my confusion, trying to catch up on this thread.

I brought up the MS13 only because we were trying to figure out a picture that he drew ---which had 13 drawn in big fat letters. So we were trying to figure out the significance. Two guesses were Santeria and or MS13. Pure speculation, only.

Read the article again. The braid of hair was his Moms.

According to his family. The braid belonged to his mom, according to his sister. For some reason, LE decided they should confiscate it; maybe they didn't agree with his sister.

I would think his sister would know whether it was her mother's braid or not. I just don't see any motive to lie about it.

If LE found long, dark hair in his car, then they have to try to eliminate his own family as the source.

If LE found hair with hair bulbs, they may be able to get DNA from it to match it to the donor. But if the hair didn't have hair bulbs, then LE would hope that AGT's mother and Sierra had hair of sufficiently different characteristics that AGT's mother could be ruled out as the donor.

How about Surenos? 13 is its lucky number, paying homage to the letter "M" as in Mexican Mafia. I can't post the link because I am on my iPad, but if you google San Jose, CA Hispanic Gangs, there is a description of the Surenos. MOO

I think it may be a trophy from one of his victims.
