If its not Sierra, lets hope for someone else's family to have some kind of closure.

Search outings for Sierra LaMar scaled back

MORGAN HILL, Calif. (KGO) --
<snip>
Though, those moments of peace are hard to find. And the pain for Sierra's parents is hard to describe, "Crying harder than I've ever cried, you know, like where you can't catch your breath," said
<snip>
The six month anniversary of Sierra's disappearance will be difficult, but Marlene says her daughter's 16th birthday next month will be even harder, "I am going to be thinking of how (much) more she had to offer, you know. I still want her to come back and experience all the things that a normal teenager would experience, going to prom and helping with her school projects, how much I miss that."
The family says the search will not end until Sierra comes home.

The searchers appear to have been extremely dedicated, I am glad there are such people in the world.

Sorry I am not completely on top of things here- but I recall it being said that AG supposedly like to go camping and fishing--- has it ever been stated in MSM if items connected to those activities were ever located,/retrieved from home or vehicle?

And that fingerprint issue,....was it ever determined if WAS Sierra's on the vehicle...or was that mention in the original article a slip of someone's tongue, and later retracted?
thanks

I think of Sierra often. May she be found soon!

Me, for one. My daughter was molested by her stepfather dozens of times over a 2-year period and it never even crossed my mind. He seemed like a GREAT stepdad, in spite of being a lousy husband.

I worked long hours to support the family, and his assaults on her occurred before she went to school, and after I went to work. She was 8 years old when it began, and we had talked about it being inappropriate for anyone to touch any part of you that is covered by a 2 piece bathing suit. She never said a word.

It came out 5 years after it stopped, we filed a police report, and he was tried and convicted. When he came up for parole July 24th, many WS members supported my daughter and I by sending letters to the parole commission expressing their disgust at the possibility of him being released after less than four years. As a result of those letters and our appearance at his hearing, his parole was denied and he is not eligible to reapply until July 2015.

Visit the CAPER forum if you want to know more about our situation, and the letter-writing campaign that kept him behind bars.

Wow, I stand corrected and educated. Thank you for speaking out. You've opened my eyes.

Tomorrow will mark 6 months since Sierra was last seen. She is on my mind every day and we will continue to look for her until we find her. Not giving up, not even close.

Here's hoping for some divine intervention that Sierra is found on this very sad anniversary. I will be thinking of her friends and family xx

I know there has been so much focus on bodies of water since the Suspect Perp spent so much time around Uvas, fishing etc. Has there been particular attention paid to any boathouses, sheds, water tanks, or drainage pipes that feed in to other bodies of water?
I think all the focus LE put on searching Uvas didn't happen by accident, they must have had some strong tips from informants, or evidence that lead them there.
I'm just thinking that rather than being directly in the body of water, she was stashed in a recepticle or shed, duct, or pipe that was an adjunct to Uvas or similar.
I'm sure how the water flows has been studied, and I'm sure that trail was followed, but I hope the surroundings near those waters were carefully carefully checked. Perhaps another check would be good.
Finally, let's hope that AGT's attorney is smart enough to let his client know that it is simply a matter of time before someone like you finds Sierra and brings her home to rest. AGT should speak up now and cooperate, or it's the death penalty for sure. If he cooperates and does the right thing, his life may be spared. God Bless You Sierra, you *will* be brought home!

Was it ever stated by LE where they actually found, or took possession of the red car?

Also, would LE have taken his keys? Would they verify what each one was for?
I got to wondering, if they used to live in a house, then moved to the RV park, what would they have done with all their stuff maybe? Is it possible there is a storage unit some where?
Also , is it possible he may have had a key to a padlock for a gate, etc.?

sorry it is me again, I am on a roll or something
Anyone remember where it was said that he did scrap collecting? Was that said by his mother or LE?
If he did that, did he haul all that crap around in the red car, or did he also have access to a truck or van? Like borrow one, or one in the family?
Wonder where he took the crap.

I remember that being said, but I wonder if he used selling scrap metal as a cover because perhaps he was selling pot...

I fear that's what he was doing (selling pot) and it was that way he ran into or had association with Sierra - all pure speculation on my part....
