So there shouldn't be confusion as to what she was wearing that morning because based on the uncut interview with her mom, Sierra was definitely wearing the "sharks" sweatshirt that morning and she answer, "I think so, yes" when asked if the shirt she was wearing was found in her purse.

Or is there some inconsistencies with the statements her mom made?

But than again we have the words I think so. And I read somewhere dang to much reading Sierra was in Pjs and than somewhere else her Mom took a pic. The media can't get a story straight to safe their lives. That is why I take what i read and believe half maybe.

AGAIN WITH THE CAR ****. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 drive away.
3:32 PM - 24 Feb 12 via txt · Embed this Tweet

This says a lot... that she has seen the car several times. The caps indicate a fear reaction. She's ready for a fight, but they leave. She indicates there are more than one person in the car.

Was Feb 24 a weekday? Because then at 3:32pm should would have been at school, right? Maybe it was the school parking lot- young teens showing off their wheels.

I keep reading something about her mom saying she was in PJs that morning too but yet on camera, her mom said she was in her Sharks sweatshirt and it was possibly one of the items found in the purse. Unless she meant the shirt underneath the sweatshirt was found in the purse.

So, confusing, but these are the details that are important. Either the journalists got the story wrong reporting that Sierra was in pjs or her mom keeps changing her story.

Her mom left for work around 6:00 am. She didn't see Sierra other than in PJs. She has consistently said she didn't KNOW for sure what she had on when Sierra left for school, but her Juicy purse/satchel was missing from their home when she discovered Sierra didn't go to school/missing.

Mom, her b/f and her dad and older sister all have alibis and are not POI in this case.

You're not right about that. Watch this video and hear what her mom says about what she was wearing, please.

She clearly states that her daughter was wearing the Sharks sweatshirt and that she has a pic of her from that very morning with it on. She never states anything about PJs in this interview. So again, are the journalists getting the PJ thing wrong or is the mom not being consistent with the story?

Per the article and interview:

"NBC Bay Area has learned new information about Sierra's personal belongings found in a field not far from her home.

One of those items is a San Jose Sharks shirt, very similar to what she was wearing last Friday morning in a photo she took on her home computer.

Marlene LaMar believes she had that shirt on when she left the house. On Sunday, searchers came across Sierra's pink Juicy purse near the intersection of Santa Teresa and Laguna. Folded within that bag were that shirt, pants and neatly folded undergarments."

I believe Mom didn't know what Sierra was wearing that morning until they found about the message to the friend, with the pic of what she was wearing. She was in her PJ's until Mom left. She got dressed and took a pic of herself and sent it to a friend that morning before she left for school.

I have watched and just rewatched it. The reporter states that Sierra took a picture of herself that Friday morning on her computer in the Shark's shirt. LE confirmed the picture/computer, etc since they have possession of her computer/phone, etc. Her mom and everyone is assuming she left home with that on and it's the exact shirt (not confirmed by LE) or she changed (put it in her Juicy purse) and left with something else on. Her mom was not home when Sierra left and neither was her mom's boyfriend.

But because Sierra's tweet only captured a small portion of the shirt, investigators can't be sure it was the same shirt located inside Sierra's Juicy-brand bag found at 1 p.m. Sunday, according to Sgt. Jose Cardoza.
"Whether it's the same we don't know, but it's similar," Cardoza said.

I watched the video again and we are both right. While she does not mention PJs in the video, she does state that her daughter was wearing the Sharks sweatshirt because in the picture she took of herself that morning that is what she was wearing. Based on that, we are both correct. Her mom only witnessed her wearing PJs but later on, discovering the last photo Sierra took she was in the Shark's sweatshirt.

A Sharks sweatshirt very similar to that was found in the purse later.

The way I understand it...
Mom last saw Sierra in PJ's before mom went to work.
Then Sierra changed into day clothes and sent a pic showing what she was wearing to go...wherever she went.

She wasn't home to know for sure. The picture that Sierra took was after her mom left for work.

Not sure who asked regarding organized crime in the area and who runs it?
The 3 top players would likely be Norteno and Sureno and Hells Angels.

I just checked...Feb. 24th was a Friday.

I just watched the uncut interview with mom, i heard the same thing. she was wearing the sharks sweatshirt when she left. she took a picture of herself on her computer before she left for the bus stop, as was her habit. Mom said she was 'into' her hair and make up.

Okay, I finally got a chance to watch part of the interview with her mom and yeah, my hinky meter is going off for some reason. She's too stoic and calm. I've been on Xanax and Lexapro and I still showed emotion when something bad happened. I cried for what seemed like days when I found out a former coworker had died in a car accident and that was when I was on both meds.

I know everyone reacts differently but I wonder if her mom knows more. Especially since she referred to Sierra in the past tense as witnessed and reported on in the article.

FWIW I am a HIGHLY emotional person. I cry for anything that is remotely emotional, embarrassing I know! However I have a friend/neighbor who has an 8 year old that was recently diagnosed with Leukemia (prayers please) and mom is on no meds and is as stoic as can be. That is her personality. Who knows what goes on behind closed doors though.

Just another take...

Lead-in for local news says the investigation is concentrating on the house where she lived.

Absolutely.

I think it is also very possible that Mom is learning a whole lot about her daughter that she never knew (she has been made aware and questioned regarding the twitter,FB, tumblr info) and is having to digest and process all of it at the same time. It would have any parent spinning. Completely overwhelmed can look very similar to tuned out or unemotional.

...and according to the Sheriff on local news very early this AM, that shirt was in the bag..
