I'm going to be one of those people who is never happy.....not unitl her body is found.

Did Antolin Garcia take her life..... I don't know...

I'd love to say convicting him is the end ..... but it's not...

I want to know what happened to her ..... and still feel there are no answers...

On the day Sierra went missing Antolin did a Yelp Review under his user name "Lucky" ..... it was for the Thousand Trails RV park ..... this was reported to authorities and subsequently the review was pulled from the internet...

I can't recall exactly ..... but there was some mention of the pool table in the rec room.....

This guy wasn't alone that day....I'm certain...

I don't just want a conviction.....I want answers!!! ...... As a mum....nothing short of full answers will ever ease my mind..... so far this trial is giving me nothing!!!

I couldn't believe what I was reading here.

This doesn't surprise me. The defense has tried to throw any ridiculous 'alternate universe' theory out there in hopes of creating a shadow of a doubt for the jury. Running away naked, with no money, no makeup, no keys, no cell phone, and no life-saving inhaler and never being seen again just so her 'Christian' mom who was living in sin with her boyfriend didn't find out she was gay...That one takes the cake for lunacy.

I feel Kaplan is so biased and for the defense and it has bothered me greatly that bias always shows up in her tweets and articles.

I have been a juror five times on criminal cases and there isn't anything worse that a defense attorney can do than insult the jury's intelligence AND try to place the blame on the victim. I refuse to believe this jury is buying all of the continious BS Lopez has tried to sell them.

In closing arguments if I was the DA I would stand up there, and list all of the ever changing defense theories the defense as lamely putout. I would ask them just how many different excuses are they willing to believe from the defense when the evidence provided shows otherwise concerning each and every stupid theory they try to throw at the wall.

It infuriates me how the defense is allowed to humiliate the victim and their family in trials such as this one when they know Sierra cant speak for herself due to this 🤬🤬🤬 murdering her. He reminds me of Baez or Steve Feldman in the Westerfied kidnapping, raping, and murder of little Danielle Van Dam. For lawyers like this there is no bar too low. It is those like Baez, Feldman, and Lopez that give all defense attorneys a bad name.

They still have not explained all of the evidence away that points directly to AGT and no one else and what they have presented hasn't moved the guilt meter one inch. IMO

I would be very surprised, and shocked if the jury has fallen for any of these deceitful ridiculous theories displayed by the defense.

If they take the evidence entered and use their common sense when applying it to the evidence then justice will be served for Sierra and all who love her.

Oceanblueeyes I totally agree with you
She has always been bias
Wish there were more and better reporters out there

I get it..... not Jury will buy into the crap....but don't they still need to feel they understand what has happened to the victim?

What happened to Sierra. .....what has the state presented to make the jury feel confident to sending this man to his death...

They do need to be convinced that Sierra is a murder victim and the murderer is AGT. They do not need to know why.... although if they convict I am positive they will believe he kidnapped her to rape her, and then murdered her to silence her. They don't even have to know how she was murdered, and only have to believe she has been. Nor does the DA have to prove where she was murdered or what happened during the time she was being raped and murdered nor do they have to produce a body of course. The state is only required to prove three things: 1, the victim is Sierra Lamar. 2. Her death was due to a homicide. 3. Based on the evidence entered AGT B-A"Reasonable"-D is the one who murdered Sierra. Thats it.

I do feel this has been proven. What makes it confusing is we have only been able to get most of the tweets from a very biased reporter. That is obvious since much more is tweeted about what Lopez has said/done than the DA and the full evidence they have entered. So we really dont have a clue what is really going on in that courtroom, and what all has been entered by the state. We would have to have the trial live on a daily basis or daily transcripts of all testimonies.

Tweets are just tiny snippets of out of context disjointed statements in a trial that goes all day long. We are not being given the true picture like we would if this trial had been televised.

I believe the evidence both forensic and circumstantial has proven Sierra is a victim of homicide and that AGT was/is the perpetrator. We just arent hearing about all of it.

OT:
Emi, didn't this same reporter do this before in another criminal case and then the suspect wound up being convicted, and she had tweeted or reported during the trial like they would be found NG? TIA

IMO

Thanks for all that..... alot of what you say makes sense..

Probably for me.....unlike a juror....I want more...

I suppose I just want to find Sierra.

His conviction.....without Sierra being found feels hollow...

I do understand your feelings Puggle but justice will come for Sierra no matter where he may have put her body. If convicted he will never be able to harm another female ever again. There will be no 'next girl' to go through what he put the three other victims through and the horrible things he did to Sierra that ended her life.

Most missing body cases are won by prosecutors now whether the victim's remains are ever found. If not it would leave all of the perpetrators who hide or destroy the bodies of their victims out there free to do it over and over again.

Sometimes the murder victim/s bodies are never located even long after the trial has been held with the defendant in prison and then some are found years later by happenstance by someone not even involved in searching for the missing victim. AGT had hours to dispose of Sierra's remains, and it really is worse than looking for a needle in a haystack because no one really knows which haystack (location) he put her in.

Her remains could be miles and miles away from where he kidnapped her and far away from where they have searched for her. I have read articles about males who kidnap and murder and many of them tend to take their victims much farther away from the initial crime scene than females who murder their victims.

I am sure Sierra's loved ones wants more than anything to find her but they also want just as badly, imo, the man who took her away from them forever to be held accountable so it will not happen to another victim or family. Many other families have had to deal with the same thing the Lamar family is having to endure, but all of them wanted justice to be served even if their loved one's remains hadn't been found.

Praying for justice to be served.

Totally agree with you on this oceanblueeyes! Wish this trial had been live streaming; at least we'd have a better idea of "what" IS going on in this trial. Wondering "why" they did NOT live stream this, or have cameras in the court room?? Did the Judge nix this?

:rose: JUSTICE FOR SIERRA!!

:judge:

http://www.fxtribune.com/local/sierra-lamar-judge-no-cameras-during-trial-h176329.html

The judge in the upcoming trial of missing teen Sierra LaMar's alleged killer Antolin Garcia-Torres has ruled that no cameras will be permitted in the courtroom during the capital murder trial, expected to begin next month.

Superior Court Judge Vanessa A. Zecher made the ruling last week, rejecting requests by TV stations and this newspaper to film or photograph what is expected to be at least a four- to six-month trial. Jury selection in the trial could start next month.

I 100% agree!! The best example I can think of is Joran Van Der Sloot. If they would have put him away poor Stephany Flores Ramirez would still be alive.

All from @levitskyyy yesterday:

In #SierraLaMar trial, defense calls up Marcelo Palmieri, Sierra's Spanish teacher for two months at Washington High School in Fremont

Palmieri says #SierraLaMar visited his class sometime between March 5 and March 9, 2012, about a week before disappearance.

Palmieri told @SCCoSheriff in 2012 that he thought #SierraLaMar had visited on a Thursday or Friday, today he's not sure.

Prosecutor says "a few," as in #SierraLaMar visited a few weeks before March 21, 2012, means 3-4. Palmieri insists he meant two weeks.

From @levitskyyy 4/10/17

Defense calls next witness, Jeannette Kinner, a classmate of defendant Antolin Garcia-Torres from Central High School in Morgan Hill.

Defendant was at mutual friend Maria Garcia's house on Kinner's 21st birthday, but she says they didn't run in the same circles #SierraLaMar

They were at Garcia's house to buy a marijuana edible for Kinner's birthday. Kinner waited in the car.

Kinner doesn't remember the date. Her birthday was in February and she says they celebrated sometime after. #SierraLaMar

It was between Feb. 23, 2012 and sometime in March, Kinner says. Defense shows her a transcript from her interview with @SCCoSheriff.

Defense establishes with Kinner that she crossed paths with defendant at Garcia's house before #SierraLaMar went missing on March 16, 2012.

Kinner was interviewed by @SCCoSheriff for first time this year, private investigator for defense for first time on Jan. 26.

Kinner getting emotional. Says her dad is a @SCCoSheriff sergeant, wouldn't have talked to PI if she'd known he worked for defense.

Anyone know what defense is trying to show with above ^

I think defense is establishing that Sierra wasn't happy in Morgan Hill since she went back to Fremont to visit her friends and former high school, making it a stronger case for running away.

Regarding Kinner, I'm not so sure. Maybe to link AGT to marijuana, to explain the turkey Baster and bleach? Or maybe since she knew people that knew Sierra, and one of her acquaintances was AGT, trying to imply that maybe AGT actually did know Sierra or to explain any trace/transfer DNA? I'm not sure, that one confused me.
