I never doubted this jury. What Lopez spun was all illogical bull crap and the jury knew it all along.

This really wasn't a complex case. There was no way to explain away all of the evidence found tying this monster to Sierra. I knew they wouldn't believe that Sierra ran away after urinating on her own clothing. The defense theories were really insulting to the jurors.

I am so elated and sad too at the same time because I wish it had never happened to Sierra and I also wish the searchers could find her remains and bring her home to those who deeply love her.

But now all others are protected from this man ever being able to harm another innocent soul.

He may not get the death penalty but he damned well deserves nothing less. I would vote for death since he is so cruel, heartless, and remorseless and refuses to give Sierra's family peace by telling them where he put their precious daughter's remains.

God be with with her family and all of the jurors as they enter the final phase of this trial.
