No I don't think the perp folded her clothes at all. I think after he abducted Sierra, he sped away and tossed out the bag and phone. Maybe Sierra's first response was to call 911 and the guy grabbed it an tossed it out the window. He then tossed out the bag.

Either 911 or her mom? Either way, I too think she was fighting to get help via the phone, and he grabbed the phone away.

Right now, cadaver dogs are being brought in to search for a missing teen cheerleader’s body. I’m told the dogs and search teams are zeroing in on 3 key areas. Cops also come out saying her kidnapper is likely an acquaintance. What do cops now know & where is Sierra LaMar?

Anthony Allen Shore said in his confession that he had given Laurie Lee Tremblay rides on several occasions before the day he sexually assaulted and murdered her.

"Aquaintance," to me, would mean someone you see around or may have had a casual interaction with, but that you don't necessarily know.

A random person who may have given her a ride before fits that.

I do think it is going to be someone she would have seen around her neighborhood.

Is it just me or does every picture of SL look different. In some her face is fuller and in others she looks very thin. jmo

May be the camera angle. But at that age teens' facial features do tend to change quickly.

imo

Really? Never noticed that in my teen age children or grandchildren. Yes, they do change from preteen to teenager, but her changes look like weight loss to me. I do have to say that I do not know the age progression of the photos and I am commenting about it because I am not sure I would recogonize her if I saw her. jmo

My opinion is that she went with someone she knew fairly well.
But my fear is that we may never know for sure...I am getting less optimistic about these types of cases being solved...hoping to be proven wrong, of course. JMO

An "aquaintance" is most defnitely not a stranger abductor IMO.

An aquaintance could be just about anyone. One she may have seen walking in her neighborhood from time to time and casually said 'hi' when passing.

I am aquainted with my mail lady but I do not know her other than her stopping to drop off packages and making small chit chat.

I believe it is someone that Sierra was comfortable seeing in her neighborhood.

IMO

I think an acquaintance can be sort of a stranger. For instance, I go into a gas station near my home every morning. I am "acquainted" with the cashier. We say hello, how are you doing, talk about the weather, etc. I'd notice if one day she weren't there. But, I certainly don't "know" her and would consider her a stranger. For instance, she isn't someone I'd invite over for dinner or anything.

An open letter to the Editor:

This Message Goes Out To The Person Who Has Taken Sierra Lamar:

I strongly feel that you are watching from a distance, and that you have heard Sierra’s family, friends and the community plea for answers. Only God and you know what has happened, and where she is. We have faith in our God, and know in our hearts that He will one day bring her home.

If you have hurt Sierra, God holds her in his loving arms, and any pain you may have caused is no more. If you have taken her from this earth and her precious life, God has taken her home. If you have held her against her will, and she is okay, please let her go. I feel that you are out there completely alone, and wondering what to do next. I can guarantee that you have closely watched the news, and even been online reading the thousands of posts via Facebook, Twitter, etc. Did you happen to watch the video that Sierra’s friend made? Now that you have gotten a glimpse into her life, you truly know how beautiful, young and full of life she is, or was.

We have so many questions. Did you plan this? Was it random? What exactly happened that morning? Do you have family? I know that you must, and I’m wondering how you would feel if this were your daughter, sister, mother, niece, or wife? Please take a moment and put yourself in Sierra’s shoes, and that of her mothers. Surely you would want your loved one safe, and never put in the position in which you have placed Sierra. If you come forward, or at least let her location be known, it may help your case. Trust me sir, judgment IS coming your way. You’re not stupid; you know perfectly well that forensics will eventually expose you. You know that it is coming and that there is no place on earth that you can hide.

We beg you, please, please come forward, or make Sierra’s location be known. Please.

Tami Fortino-Leonardini, Gilroy

I would like to know prior to SL going missing when was she last at her father's. I think that whomever did this was a person SL had been around. She might not have known them, but they knew her. I believe it was planned and she was convinced that this person was a friend of someone she knew. I believe it has been stated it was cold and rainy. Who wouldn't want to take a ride instead of waiting for the bus? I believe her belongs were thrown out very early and I think too much is being placed on the 'neatly folded clothes'. This person knew the neighborhood either because they lived nearby or they had staked it out. I don't think she is going to be found alive and I only hope they can catch whomever did it. I think there are multiple possibilite as to who the perp is. Hopefull there will be evidense when she is located because I think this will be the only way anyone will ever be charged. :please: jmo

I think it was in the 60s the morning Sierra went missing.

Someone from the area stated it didn't rain that day until after 5 PM.

Forensics won't be helpful unless they have a suspect, or unless the person has fingerprints or DNA on file...but Sierra needs to be found, for the best chance at evidence that may point to a specific person...I can't say how much I am hoping that LE is really searching these new areas based on info, rather than to eliminate areas.

...SNIP...
I'm actually more concerned about her references to Tyler the Creator and the OFWGTA (http://www.guardian.co.uk/music/2011/may/07/tyler-the-creator-odd-future). It's not that Tyler/OF is dangerous, per se. But his lyrics are really mysoginistic (and homophobic), even violent. I get that he's a popular artist, but his work kind of freaks me out (and I'm not easily freaked out). I wonder if she could have been offered a ride to the OF store or something, and the driver turned out to be a perv.

They band, OFWGTA is playing a concert TOMORROW at NOON in San Bernardino. I wonder if she was led to think the person who abducted her was in a position to get her tickets?

Also, I wonder if (as someone mentioned) "homework" may be a "code". I know that among my daughter's schoolmates, they use the term "books" to mean "marijuana" and in most cases, it can be made to sound like they MEAN books. "Gonna go read a few chapters before bed" or "Picking up a new book tomorrow."

A friend of mine always used the term "tickets" and it also "works" in most cases. "Hey, do you know where I can get tickets to the festival this weekend?" "Sure, how many do you need?"

Still another friend (years ago) used the word "Ernie" which I found a bit more cumbersome, but he could easily call his "connection" and ask if he and Ernie wanted to come over, etc.

Last thought before I shut up for a while...

Perhaps Sierra was GLAD someone offered her a ride so she could get to school earlier than on the bus, to review the homework with her friend. When she was in the car, she may have attempted to text the friend to say she'd be early as she was getting a ride with (insert name here), and the driver (or another passenger) grabbed the phone and threw it to stop her.
