Does she have a boyfriend. Mom says NO. Emailing/texting to any guys who liked her. Mom says she doesn't know about that. Sierra was friendly to everyone.

Sheriff: Doesn't know about crushes. Doesn't get any leads going in that direction. Sierra was social and well liked.

Mom: No home alarm. Mom leaves home around 6 am.

Sheriff: Dogs picked up sent going out of her house. Not sure how far. Lots of wind/rain that day.

The other woman on NG (don't know who she is) is interested in BF too...

Did LE say BF was "cleared" or "cooperating"? Can't recall...

I think Mom just left...said she had "something else to do"...was not happy...

The only thing Bethany M. says of value (to me) is that we should hear from the boyfriend...if he was the last one to be physically there with her...

Now Mom is saying he left BEFORE mom...

I feel so sorry for Marlene. She has to be exhausted. She knows LE knows the truth and which one left before the other one and LE already knows Rick is not a suspect.

There is no reason the boyfriend should speak out. He is not a suspect in this case and has fully cooperated with LE throughout. As long as he has told them everything he doesnt have to come out and entertain the public's curiosity.

Actually locals have posted that there was no wind or rain at that time of the morning that day. I believe the wind and rain came later in the day when the police brought out the dogs.

It started when Mom said she left last, and later, she said he was still there when she left...which is a huge discrepency, even if she did not mean to say it...it went downhill from there and she hung up, I guess...

Back to the scent. When the sheriff said they picked it up outside the door but not sure how far she got. Sierra may never have made it but a few steps out the door. Someone could have been hiding right outside the house but would it have been possible to get her to the car (assuming the street) without screams or someone noticing? In the night could someone have parked a car behind those buildings, or in those buildings at the back of their lot? Can someone put up the layout of their property in a bird's eye view?

Mom made it clear she did not want to talk about BF at all...when NG first asked her who was home, she said just her and Sierra...only later, when NG asked again, did she admit he was there...LE is saying NOW that NO ONE has been eliminated...

It is very clear to LE. LE has to check out alibis.......they dont just take anyone's word for it and all THREE adults have iron clad alibis.

Do you have a link about an "iron clad alibi"?

I have read statements about family being cleared, but I don't remember seeing this phrase. I also don't consider the mom's boyfriend "family" of Sierra, but i recognize that I may be in the minority in that opinion and I'm okay with that.
