I read back trying to find what Leon testified about in this case but could not find it. Does anyone recall what his testimony covered?

So, was he the lead detective in Sierra's disappearance? Or was he lead detective in the Safeway attacks?

Either way, if Leon testified only to AGT's involvement in the Safeway attacks, how are reporters and legal analysts thinking it might affect AGT's conviction for the murder of Sierra? And wouldn't there have to be evidence that he gave false testimony in this case for this case to be affected?

I remember when Debra Milke was released based on false evidence given by the lead detective but that was only because the false evidence was given in her case and that false evidence was used to convict her. Other cases he lied about did not and could not have set her free. And, imo, that's the way it should be.

I am glad they are able to call Leon as a witness in this phase because I want everything made known, no matter what it is. With such transparency there should be no shocking revelations years down the road and AGT will receive a sentence that will stick.
