I will have to look up the other case. Trying to make it through all the information and appreciate everything you all have posted. initially a little thrown back by all I had not been privy to previously and now trying to take this head on. Thank you again. Over the years I have seen similar cases on TV or in the news or where ever (watched true crime tv channels only for about a 5 year stint) and I would forward the information to the detectives in hope something would come of it but nothing so far. They just ignore or dismiss me.

Funny I had specifically asked, without knowledge of what you stated above, if those type of items had been recovered at the scene. For personal reasons and as an area of interest with regard to providing personal items to another investigative lead we were trying to inspire to look at the case. To date no reply has come from them.

I still continue to be amazed at all of the articles I was unaware of. I searched and searched and only came up with one or two articles. I am very blessed to have such diligent "detectives" looking at this. In years prior I was too upset, too nervous or too un/misinformed to keep poking around. I am so grateful again for all of your attention to this matter.

The only "show" I was made aware of long after it aired was called Psychic Challenge (if I am not mistaken). A contest of sorts that had 3 psychics look at the case and determine who was "most intuitive" I suppose. http://scrapbookoftruth.net/2011/11/21/jackie-barrett-psychic-detective/
if you search the document for Tillman about mid way down. I, being unaware she was "famous" had contacted her at some point in (unsure now what year, my kids were not in school yet so at least 4 years ago) and she responded. We had a few conversations and she shared some of the information from being close to the area, the vehicle, their friends. Then I became aware of her experience in the field and realized that she could not "baby me thru" the investigation at all.

I apologize, looking for the specifics on the show left me on a trail of information, and I lost my place~! Thank you, this post inspired me to look at the others involved with that episode, as I had never done so. I will post a link when I locate the show and thank you for the inspiration and information.

I am so new to this and have to ask where some of the information with regard to my dad's business dealings is found?

I have, out of sheer unwillingness to cause any distraction to the case, and not being close to my dad at the time, not even considered my own "investigation" of the case. (I am now realizing)

I was told that the claims of money being owed to others were spawned from speculation that they were involved in the "florida land deals" of that time. Timeshares or properties being sold or invested in and, if I am not mistaken, there were no actual properties. The same was true of another state in the US which is not coming to mind yet. All of this was limited information the detectives gave on my short visit to CA.

I did various searches for The bubbling lady. I am a bit amazed that a business of 36 years is not traceable. Will try and jog my memory with the name and get back to you if anything comes to mind. My last summer spent in CA I was 10 and without my younger sister I was stressed. The year prior I had an accident and almost bled to death so that summer was very foggy. I do remember going to visit clients of my father so I am sure something may come to mind once I sit down and relax.

Thanks for inspiring me.

I am trying to take it all in. Please don't worry about overwhelming me. Just keep it coming. I am working to take it in as I can. Have already graduated from overwhelmed to inspired. Then I am reduced to tears and have to back out again for a few days. I could not have asked for a bigger blessing than finding Tricia and this page and you all.

Just wanted to thank you all again. I have posted an open invitation to the page in a facebook group we have for my dad and Joni. I asked their close friends to join and feel free to engage with you all and hopefully provide more answers than I have. Hopefully that will happen soon. Until then I will jump on, try to respond in order, and where warranted and appropriate. I am very emotional, honest to a fault and always talk to much (my husband says), I don't know much of the specific details as my relationship with my dad was short and strained. However I am very intuitive, have known to be empathetic to the point of actually feeling others pain and just want this solved. I am hopeful that somehow this will be the place that this is solved or someone reading it will know something or be able to take it all and point it in the right direction. Thank you for your time, patience with me and for all of your effort. I am slightly overwhelmed, but will take it in stride and this is the best overwhelming I could hope for, having felt the overwhelming feeling of hopelessness with this and wouldn't wish it on anyone.

Thank you, bless you and please keep it coming, I am heading toward inspired and toward this becoming a "mission" again. :loveyou:

Joni and Skip had no children aside from their "fur baby" Teddy. I am his daughter from his 1st marriage and I have a younger sister. He was married once before Joni and there were no children. I am pretty sure she was married once before and had no children. The estate is a tougher question that i will have to get back to. All of their debts and law suits, I am told, were paid by that estate before it was distributed.

I am unable to activate the link to his license and was hoping to review that information if possible. Is it public information? Ohio would probably be the other area that the "bad land deals" were in but that is speculation as I don't remember what the detectives said with regard to where those deals were said to be done.

Good to see you back! I was concerned that our postings were a little too much.

We are "excavators of information" and quite often we can't put the bits and pieces of our findings together to arrive at definite answers but darned if we don't try.

I do hope you find answers and justice.

*Oh, and I'm not a very proficient "facebook-er" but I joined the "Joni Tillman and Skip Tillman R.I.P." group

Here's a link to the Ohio license (hope this works for you):

I was told the area was an abandoned garbage dump. I couldn't only imagine a landfill and garbage everywhere. Had no idea. Funny to think back now to how much even technology has changed. We barely had PC's, I had left a message for my dad on his answering machine that probably had an actual cassette in it and I keep wanting them to locate the last call records from the house but I think at the time that would still have been a subpoena to the phone company. Certainly not as easy as it is now.

I didn't spend much time with my dad, but he was large compared to most his age. The detectives stated that they must have made him watch Joni be killed. I don't know how they determined any of this but I would just said there had to be a weapon or threat to Joni and in the same thought I don't understand how no evidence was left behind. Mind you all the crime TV in the world and I still don't know what goes on in a criminal mind. I can't walk into a room without leaving some evidence I have been there.

Thank you, I have so many distractions and just never thought of "investigating" myself really until I found you all here. So grateful and hopeful that this will be the way to the solution here. Thank you
