October observations from Weaverville and the Fish hatchery from weatherforyou.com

Have LE searched the trailer? Missing carpet may mean blood was spilled in there. They may still be able to find traces of it.
Has the boyfriend described the last time he saw Stacey? Did they have an argument, did she storm off? Does he have a vehicle?
LE need to get into Stacey's Facebook and email accounts too... They might find messages that give a clue about what happened to her.
Has anyone come forward to say they've seen Stacey since the housewarming party on Oct 15? I'm wondering why Oct 12 is being used as the date she disappeared if she was seen by multiple people after that date. I'm also curious about where her credit/debit card was last used. Is there surveillance video showing who used the card? Has LE found the card, i.e. was it found at her residence, or do LE know that her card was used only from bank records they obtained?
Did Stacey move the same time her BF did, or did someone else take her there to join him after he was already living there?
Given the dearth of any concrete informaton, I'll just spew out what I have gleaned from myriad sources, some MSM, some obvious conclusions -- so take all of this as MY HUMBLE OPINION -- NOT FACTUAL BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE A CAMERA ON THE WORLD TO BE ABLE TO CORROBORATE ANYTHING I KNOW MOST LIKELY HAPPENED TO STACEY, PER OCCAM'S RAZOR.
At the time Stacey moved from Weaverville CA to Lewiston CA, her relationship with the BF was in its early beginning. At the time of her disappearance, Stacey had been in the relationship less than six months (and, by the way, "BF" doesn't stand for "boyfriend" anymore with me -- I have another moniker that fits easily with ":B** F****" -- and that seems more fitting, in MY OPINION, but, most likely many others share it).
As far as we know, daughter Nicole said that she learned from the BF that he had broken up with Stacey and that he hadn't seen her since. The breakup occurred approximately 3 weeks prior to November 7, 2016 -- which was, coincidentally, around about Sun., Oct. 16, 2016 -- better remembered as the date that Stacey's debit card was last used.
Now, you can take that as his official alibi: He broke off the relationship with her on/about Sun., Oct. 16, 2016 -- never saw her again -- and he lived happily ever after -- END OF STORY.
If LE needs to ask any further questions of him, he does not have to even speak a single word. And they can't do anything to him. They cannot arrest him. They have nothing on him. Why should LE waste their scarce resources chasing their tails? It's a futile effort. Any murderer can learn everything he needs to know to plan, commit, and successfully complete the perfect crime and get away with it. All he has to do is plop down in his recliner, turn on the boob tube, and binge view the crime shows.
Tired of your wife. Oh, honey, let's go hiking. I know you've always wanted to go -- for 25 years you've been begging me to go -- well, today's the day! Out on the trail, overlooking a cliff -- gives her a great heave-ho send off. Arrivederci & Bon Voyage! No messy divorce, division of assets, alimony. If he's lucky, maybe he'll even get some life insurance money and her 401K account. Oh, and the house, too. Plus, his freedom!
Girlfriend expecting your baby -- uh oh~ how'd THAT happen? Now you'll be stuck with that pesky child support for a couple of decades. Oh, but wait ... he seems to recall that unsolved mystery murder case -- geez! so much like his own situation -- Takes her for a moonlight boat ride in an alligator-infested swamp, ooops! Boat springs leak. Where are the life jackets?? A little chumming around the boat, with some chicken parts, for good measure -- Yep! Here come those big boys -- didn't know they could move so fast! Gives her a shove overboard -- reinserts the plug -- paddles back to shore.
Do we know where the debit card was used? No. Of course we don't. Do we know WHO used Stacey's debit card on Sun., Oct. 16, 2016. Nada, again. Like so many other cases whose pages we comb through painstakingly, this scenario plays out over and over again, in thousands of cities all over the U.S. -- and the world -- if you don't have anything -- you have NOTHING.
P****s me off! Search party? No, I think a posse is a better idea.
Well, I'm going to blow a hole in that official alibi. Didn't BF post "his GF" went missing? That doesn't sound broke up to me. Edited to remain within TOS.
Okay, I can see that. But it sure does blow up the game if you tell one group of people one thing and another group of people a different thing. Now you just lost credibility unless you come clean to one of those groups. But if you want sympathy, and your friends don't know you broke up, she's still your GF, not your ex. I guess.

If I gave a cookie jar back to the previous owner because I didn't want it anymore, and the previous owner claimed it came up missing, I wouldn't say it's still mine. I would say "hey, I gave up that cookie jar, so don't come sniffing around here looking for it. It was a pretty sweet cookie jar, I just wanted a different one though, and I hope you find it." Because if it was MY cookie jar, I'd be out trying to find it, and the thief.
I sincerely hope today she contacts her family to let them know she ran off with a hot new love interest. It would literally make my holiday complete. Stacey, please be okay and please contact your loved ones. They miss you terribly.
We need the ability to vet other people related to Stacey's disappearance. She was missing a long long time before it was reported, so unless we can start helping LE piece together dates, times, and whereabouts I don't see how we can ever find Stacey.
