Found Deceased CA - Steven Casas, adult, Redding, 22 June 2019

Steven Casas, missing under suspicious circumstances, was last seen June 22 in the area of Harnell Ave. and Churn Creek Rd. just before 1 p.m.

Officials describe him as a Hispanic man, approximately 5'9" inches tall and weighs 180 pounds. They say he was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt and white or light colored shorts.

"On Friday, around 10:15 a.m., Redding Police Department (RPD) Investigators were searching for missing person Steven Casas in the area of Anderson-Cottonwood Irrigation District (ACID) canal and Cypress Avenue when they located a body in the canal. Police identified the body as that of 26-year-old Steven Casas, missing since June 22."
