The last I heard was they were going to forward the information on to their panel for review. Nothing since then.

Steven's NamUs profile was modified on 7/23/25 - 1 exclusion added - a possible victim of Randy Kraft was ruled out.

A supposed cousin made a post about him on Reddit. He said he was leaving on a solo camping trip in 1972. All of his camping gear, clothing, wallet, etc. were found in his car.

I just went on the Reddit post and the cousin is still on it and said they spoke w SF corner and believe they found him but can’t confirm it. I could not figure which John Doe he was talking about. It’s on the thread and the cousin mentioned it 2 months ago.
Also on the same post a friend was on and mentioned before Steven left he showed him a spider web tattoo on his back by his shoulder he had gotten. It’s interesting because that is not mentioned in any of his profiles. Maybe nobody knew he had gotten it?
