The media is giving out very little info. However I found in Kern County Court records she was arrested in September for Inflicting Corporate Injury on Spouse/Cohabitant and charged under 273.5(A).2012. Bond was set at $30,000 which is pretty high for California, in my opinion. She was arraigned Dec. 15, and the next hearing listed is January 25 It is showing the bail status as exonerated which normally means in legal terms that the legal process (such as a trial) has finished.
(note: It doesn't matter whether the defendant is found guilty/innocent or if the case has been dismissed. But since there was a second arrest since then, things may have changed and the record hasn't been updated.
The disposition of that case is left blank so still pending IMO. https://itsapps.kerncounty.com/iframed/nonCMS/crimindex/crimcal/crim_index_case_detail.asp
She was arrested again in late November.
Kern County Sheriff’s Reports, Nov. 23
The California Penal codes under which she was charged include P.C. 245(a)(4) “Any person who commits an assault upon the person of another by any means of force likely to produce great bodily injury shall be punished by imprisonment in the state prison for two, three, or four years, or in a county jail for not exceeding one year, or by a fine not exceeding ten thousand. . " California Penal Code Section 273.5 "(a) Any person who willfully inflicts upon a person who is his or her spouse, former spouse, cohabitant, former cohabitant, or the mother or father of his or her child, corporal injury resulting in a traumatic condition is guilty of a felony...."
(Note, this is the same charge she had in the court records from September, they are two separate arrests) and PC 273a(b) "Any person who, under circumstances or conditions other than those likely to produce great bodily harm or death, willfully causes or permits any child to suffer, or inflicts thereon unjustifiable physical pain or mental suffering, or having the care or custody of any child, willfully causes ..."
I think she's either in hiding, or seeking to avoid prison time IMO. (though harm from the person she injured, or a parent of the harmed child is a possibility).
