It's been too long for an article of clothing, body part, etc... to have not come ashore or be visible on the surface had she fallen into the surf
So, just me, I'm moving on from that scenario

Trying to figure out if it's possible the "went hiking" angle is a red herring and some sort of foul play happened here.

Another hiker took at video, he caught her on the edge of a cliff looking out at the ocean. Read back for details.

She was there and dressed for hiking. The rest is a mystery.

Family member here. Her intention was to go hiking and she has went hiking quite a few times prior before. She did indeed go by herself and wasn’t being accompanied by anyone else, as far as we know.
