Kjac22 how about organizing a candle light vigil for your Mom it would help get more press coverage. If you would like help in anyway you can send me a private message. I am not far from the shopping center. I was thinking the Woodcreek golf course or Sun city would be able to hold the vigil!

The aquatic center is used by the high school during the school year and open to the public in the summer when school is out of session. School was still in session when Susan went missing. The aquatic center is just 3 swimming pools, the gym is located on the other side of library.

That's a great idea!

Kjac22, as far as finding a lawyer in the Sacramento area, please call the Bar Association for a referral (916-564-6707). i knew lawyers up there, but since moving to the Bay Area a lifetime ago, I don't have any current lawyer referrals.

Thinking of you and your Dad, and adding my prayers that your Mom will be home very soon.

Personally, I am not a fan of PI's. These days they can't locate or accomplish much more than anyone with a computer. And there are many out there that are out to scam a client that is desperate for information on a loved one.

Just be careful is all I'm saying.

There are advantages as well as disadvantages to hiring a PI, but the good ones are expensive. There are shady ones, yes, but there are also some who are trustworthy.
Sometimes people will talk to a PI sooner than they would a cop. It's amazing what a good PI can find out just by asking a few questions. There are people who may have seen something unusual, but hesitate to call it in because they don't want to get involved, or be considered a suspect, which happens when cops start interrogating them trying to find the holes in their stories.
It's true that one can find out some things on a computer, but that computer is not going to be like talking to people who were there, or were working nearby when it all went down, and who could have seen some suspicious person lurking around right before it happened.

Kjac22,
I have been following this for the last couple weeks since a friend of your Mom and Dad's called me asking me for some input. You parent's always had a standing "appointment" with her.
I am a California licensed Private Investigator and in Danville.
If you and your Father would like to sit down and talk, I will make myself available to your schedule.
You can contact me via email at [email protected].
BTW: I am impressed at the information exchanged on this site. SuziQ...be open to what TxLady2 had to say....

Respectfully............Kent

Would she have to drive down Pleasant grove Blvd?

Would she have to drive down Pleasant grove Blvd?

No, although she could have. I think her most likely route would depend on where in Sun City she lives specifically. I would think she'd either go

1. Del Webb to Blue Oaks to Woodcreek Oaks, or
2. Del Webb to Fiddyment to Pleasant Grove to Woodcreek Oaks

Slight alternate to Route 2 might be:
3. Del Webb to Sun City to Blvd. to Pleasant Grove to Woodcreek Oaks

I think all of those would be pretty do-able from most of Sun City, but admittedly I haven't been in there, just driven past it before. Any of these routes would be very short distances/drives.

Is there anything new?

I would think so, too. Even if she became confused and started walking, most of that area is residential/commercial. The "open space" areas are right along Pleasant Grove - behind the aquatic center and Mahany Park. Then, there are huge open space areas up along Fiddyment Road (near where Pleasant Grove intersects Fiddyment). Other than that, though, mostly residential/commercial - and it seems way too long to not have found her if she was simply "confused" or had a "spell," in my opinion.

I'm really impressed with Vjac's vigilance, though - your mom is very lucky to have you looking so hard, and I know we're all hopeful she returns safely before the birth of her first grandchild!

I have a quick questions!

Why would she be confused?

Is she ill or on medications?

I think her son indicated as an outside possibility, as her parents had dementia or something similar.

http://www.auburnjournal.com/articl...ses-fears-around-mother’s-disappearance

"The incident, which began the morning Susan Jacobson disappeared near one of the safest shopping centers in Roseville, continues to weave a troubling web of questions for law enforcement and the missing woman’s family. With more than 44 days having passed since Jacobson’s abandoned car and empty wallet were discovered, her son is answering questions about the type of woman his mother is — as well as the reasons he worries something “dark” has happened to her."

There's a response block: You have to answer 2 questions or use FB, etc. I did the 2 answers and then the article loaded fully.
