CA - Suspect sought in attempted kidnapping of 2 toddlers in los angeles

The Los Angeles Police Department has released a composite sketch of a suspect who scaled a chain-link fence and attempted to kidnap two children, ages 2 and 3, as they played outside their home Monday night.

Police say the two victims were playing with about five other children in the courtyard of their apartment complex when the suspect scaled a chain-link fence and grabbed them.

As the suspect attempted to leave the scene with the two boys, the other kids, including a sister, screamed, prompting the suspect to drop the victims and flee on foot.

"I was playing outside with my friend and then somebody came and he carried my friend and my brother. Then I started pulling them away from the guy. I thought he was going to take them and kill them," said Michelle Ramos, who is the sister of one of the victims.

He was described as a Hispanic man, approximately 25 years old, standing about 6 feet tall, weighing about 150 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

They are showing this perps picture on all the local newscasts. Someone must know him because he is 25, has braces, and drives a maroon SUV. I hope someone turns him in. He needs help!

An unidentified man who scaled a chain-link fence in an attempt to snatch two children playing outside a central Los Angeles apartment complex on Aug. 10 tried to abduct a woman in the same area Wednesday morning, police said....

The woman said she saw a blue steel handgun on the center console of the van and the suspect had his pants down, exposing himself.

The man has been described as a Hispanic man, about 25 years old, 6" and 150 pounds, with braces with blue rubber bands on them. He was also wearing a wide-brimmed hat, sunglasses, a red T-shirt, jeans and white shoes at the time of the first incident.

The suspect, in a white van with tinted windows, spoke to the victim as she walked on the south sidewalk, displayed a pornographic image on a cell phone and told her, “Get in the van, or you know what will happen,” according to the LAPD.

The suspect was described as a Latino man about 30-40 years old, 5 feet 7 inches tall and 170 pounds, with a pot belly, light complexion, black hair, light brown mustache, blue eyes and dental braces with blue rubber bands. He wore a brown wide-brimmed hat, light blue polo short with white stripes and blue jeans

Man Tries Kidnapping Two Children From Apartment Complex
The possible suspect vehicle has been identified as a burgundy 2000 Chevrolet S10 pick up, police said Wednesday.

He either has access to more than one vehicle or it's not the same guy. With both being described as having braces with blue coloring.........I kind of doubt it's a different guy

I see, so the first attempt (the children) was 8/10/15 and the second (the woman) was 1/2/16. That will teach me not to look at the date of the original post! hahaha

Sounds like the same guy. They need to find him. He sounds very dangerous.
