The Alameda County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help finding a missing at-risk man who recently walked away from a care facility in Hayward.

Sheriff’s deputies are trying to find Tetsue Morino, 78, who was last seen around 10 a.m. Friday leaving a care facility at 18958 Standish Ave. in Hayward. He has multiple health conditions that require attention, according to the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office.

Morino only speaks Japanese and is known to visit businesses along Mission Boulevard in Hayward, the sheriff’s office said. He stands 5-foot-7 and weighs 160 pounds, and he was last seen wearing a beige jacket with grey pants. He doesn’t have a cell phone and is familiar with public transportation.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts can call the sheriff’s office at 510-667-7721.
