Researching the location, I found that there are many many bodies found at Quarry Point--people who fall/jump off ferries and personal boats, people who jump off bridges, people who get caught in currents while swimming...this unfortunate man had lots of company.

It might be useful if somebody has the time and interest to put together a list of all the unidentified people found on Angel Island/Quarry Point/Tiburon so we can compare them to people missing in the region.
