GUILTY CA - Tori Vienneau, 22, & Dean Springstube, 10 mos, murdered, Bonita, 26 July 2006 #2

I seem to remember Steve mentioning Ann Rule somewhere way back in the thread but am not sure. I know that he provided a lot of bloggers with the info on Tori & Dean.

I just emailed him, telling him about the new thread and about some of the developments, maybe he'll stop by.

I am so glad to see a few new faces posting in this thread. I am sure that there are many who read but don't post. Please jump in and offer up your ideas.

I've been reading here for awhile, but have not posted. This story breaks my heart and I truly do not understand the lack of response from law enforcement. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Here are some ideas I have and I apologize if you have already done any of these things. Also, I have some of the contact info for the people listed below, so if you need it, please pm me (don't want to post it publicly):

People/News to Contact:

Vanity Fair Magazine
Dominick Dunne
People Magazine
Create a myspace page
Anderson Cooper
all of your local and state media
all of your elected officials, especially those in your district: senators, congress people, mayors, Attorney General, etc - PLEASE try this even though Gov. Schwar. declined to get involved.
*contact people in your community who are very high profile and connected to the right people. For example, Warren Beatty (the actor) - he is very passionate and active in the community/politics, athletes, Susan Sarandon
*contact every agency in your area that handles violence against women in children. They have excellent resources

I'll post more if I think of anything else. I hope this helps, and again, please let me know if you need any contact info.

I think we need to plan something for the one year mark. Get press releases together. Get the public to show up for a candle light vigil. A presser with the family with invites to all the media in the area. Also a huge invite to the LE to make it there to discuss the case with the media.
The more people at the vigil the better the press will cover it. I would ask chruch groups and others to help out. Have flyers there to pass out on the case. Also a passout to the press. Pictures blown up and put on signs.
Hope this helps.

I agree with this 100%...

Do we have any locals that could physically get out there and help out Dayna prepare for the 1 yr.?

Memorial Bench Honors Victims of Double Murder

In Bonita a bench now stands to memorialize the lives of a young woman and her son, both strangled in an unsolved murder in 2006.

The bench was unveiled Saturday at Glen Abbey Memorial Park on Bonita Road. The bench honors single mother Tori Vienneau, 22, and her 10-month-old son, Dean Springstube.

Not only is the case still unsolved, but also there have been no arrests in the double murder.

I can't believe how horrible this must be for the family of Tori and Dean.. I have written to every news station and reporter that I can find begging them to investigate.. If there is anything else that I can do please let me know..
I just can't understand why the police and media have not been all over this.. This animal needs to be found and punished..

I have emailed every news outlet I can think of and this is just so frustrating. This smells like a huge coverup to me and I can't believe nobody will pick up this story. I am going to keep trying everyone I can think of because Tori and Dean deserve justice, as does her family.

JBean: Pass on a link to the YouTube clip in which Dayna is interviewed as well. If they can say no, after hearing the pain in her voice.... I don't think they will say no. *has faith*
