AMAZING! Thank you Carl and Detective Rhods! The flyer translates as follows:
My family was from La Blanca
The year was 1980
Do you recognize me?
I was the victim of a homicide in July of 1980 near los Angeles, California, USA. The man who murdered me is in prison for killing me and another woman.
I was five months pregnant at that time. The father of my unborn child has been located. He is a Honduran whose name is Rene, and during that year, he lived west of Downtown Los Angeles near the corner of 9th Street and Westmoreland Avenue. He is not believed to have anything to do with my murder, and he has no known connection to the killer, but he says he does not remember me, or know who I was.
The genealogical investiation based on my DNA, performed by a non-profit organization called DNA Doe Project, has revealed that my family has very strong connections with La Blanca, Bajio de la Tesorera, Zacatecas.
I might have close family members with the surnames Parga, Chavez, Aleman, Anaya (or Amaya), Lira, Ramos, Navarro, or Ortiz.
If you believe you might know my identity, please contact Steve Rhods of the Ventura County Sheriff's Department.

Thank you, HmmMysterious!I sent the poster to Mexican news channels with ties to Zacatecas (Tropico de Cancer Zacatecas, NTR Zacatecas, Televisa Zacatecas) via Facebook Messenger. Two of them (Tropico and NTR) saw it. I hope I see the poster on their Facebook feeds soon.
I'm not sure if this can be said publicly, but I am curious how closely the relatives found from La Blanca, Zacatecas were related to her. I'm excited to think of how close of a lead DNA Doe Project may be onto! The La Blanca area appears to be pretty small in population and I assume was smaller pre-1980, so I'm hoping some good leads can turn up. So glad to hear there's been good progress towards a more specific region.
"La Blanca y sus Ferias" on Facebook has shared the poster.

Does it happen to be Laura Maria Hernandez? She does look a lot like Lyra Jade, but she's been ruled out by DNA Doe and CODIS.Thank you. I have just started to look into this.... I found a person who looks what i see as identical... even from first glance.... But the missing girls post does not state she was pregnant or had a pregnancy prior.... Nor would anyone think. this baffles me because it looks like her.
A lot of scenarios going thru my head, but no evidence. yet.
i think it looks exactly like her....This is most likely not a match but I thought I'd suggest it. On NamUs it states that this jane doe is between 10-30 years old. Tara Cossey went missing a year prior, she would have been 13 at the time this jane doe was found.
