If someone killed him it happened after 5 pm and before 7 pm. (wife called - wife arrived)

The video did not show him leaving the house. I would guess it also didn't show the nephew leaving during the time in question or they would have mentioned it.

If he was killed in the house after 5, how did the killer get his body out?

The side door. The back door. Must have know about the neighbor's camera. He may have walked away from the house...

Very weird.
I wonder if it was usual for him to have dinner ready at that time?
Did he have any unusual/ strange happenings/ behavior lately?
Has it been confirmed that the nephnephas there?
Was the wife late getting home? Is that her usual time.
Im reserving my opinion until i know a bit more. So far it doesn't look good.

The side door? The back door? I found a photo of the front of the house on Google but didn't know if it was OK to post it. There are shrubs on the side of the house. Could have slipped out the side.

He may have walked away from the house... just didn't return. Someone must have known about the neighbor's camera.

It's getting dark at 5:30 pm.

So... could he have gotten stuck somewhere they don't know to look? Like inside the automatic garage door or something like that? Did they look inside his cars?

Yes the nephew and William both could have walked out the side or back door.

But what I was wondering was, if William was killed in the house how would the killer get rid of the body? Not out the front, we know that much. And the back seems to have a wall, and beyond the wall a fence surrounding an empty lot. I don't see how someone could carry/drag a body out there. Hence I don't think he was killed in the house.

Also, William talked to his wife several times that afternoon/evening. There were several hours that passed between when the nephew left and when William last spoke to his wife. It would seem odd that William wouldn't mention that the nephew was still there, which he would have had to have been if the nephew did something to William - unless the nephew left and came back.

Do we know how the nephew got there?
Did he drive?
How old is he?
How far away does he live?

Why was the nephew not at work on Jan 26th?

Curious as to what has been discovered to bring Homicide in
Nobody was seen entering the house as per LE.

“The video shows he never left the house,” Peck said. “No friends drove up. No one came to the door.

Has it been mentioned if the nephew was seen leaving the house?

It sounds as if LE do not believe that William just walked away
LE said every inch of the house was searched.

“On Thursday, the deputies searched every inch of the house,” his sister Peck said.

The above article makes no mention of the nephew being seen on the neighbors video.
The nephew had to leave somehow, so possibly out the back way and over the fence.
But what about William? It would be hard to move someone and not be noticed.
Is there a well on the property?

I am still curious as to why he made dinner so early, hours before his wife arrived home.
They spoke on the phone so he must have known her ETA, so why cook chicken two hours early?

Maybe it was a slow cooking recipe?

I just noticed that the times are different in the two articles.

The one in the OP says the wife got home between 5:30-6:00
William John Cierzan, 58, who works at Six Flags Magic Mountain, was watching golf on TV with his nephew at 1:30 p.m. Thursday inside his home on Cuatro Milpas Street, near Seco Canyon Road, said his sister Andrea Peck. After the nephew left the home, his wife called him between 3:30 and 4 p.m. and he said ‘I’m putting dinner on’ But, two hours later, Cierzan’s wife, Linda, arrived home and found the chicken cooked, with the oven turned off.
The other one says the wife got home at 7:00
https://signalscv.com/2017/01/30/homicide-detectives-probe-bizarre-disappearance-william-cierzan/
Cierzan, who works at Six Flags Magic Mountain, talked to his wife, Linda, about 5 p.m. Thursday and told her he was cooking dinner, Cierzan’s sister Andrea Peck told The Signal Friday.

At 7 p.m., when his wife arrived home, Cierzan was nowhere to be found, she said. Left behind in the house were his wallet, keys and jacket.
And why the significance of the nephew being there at 1:30, but not indicating what time he left? If neighbors saw no one come or go from their cameras, does this also include the nephew? How did he come and go then?

I'm thinking g he was taken out of the house the night before. If this is true there are a few poi's here.
I think the nephew and the.dinner are cover ups.
