My bad...thanks for all who clarified!
The other Hoagland's story was an interesting read, at least.

Thank You for posting this information. Count me in.

Just picked up a AAA Auto Club map and yellow highlighted the areas I have searched. Perhaps anyone else can post here or at the meeting location to add their locations.
You.are an amazing person!

Thursday has been 4 weeks. Every once in a while, someone that could have connections puts another small part of the puzzle out on the table that guides my thinking. I hate posting VAGUE thoughts and not the BEEF as I start sounding like some of the first 10 days. With that said, we (sorry can't say) created a timeline from 5:12 pm Thursday evening along main faster speed limit roads towards a direction/area I had already searched somewhat, but the day I covered this secluded location, it was really muddy on one side of this dirt road so I only searched the 6 feet deep ruts to the 10 ft. deep main stream. Last night after dark happened, we are about 10 houses from a location that we were recently told some of the family members are living in. The side not searched because of mud is where we went up. Parked, saw some tire tracks that tore up the growing tall green grass, headed in that direction. We are using flashlights looking toward some "scrub oaks" that have branches touching the ground along with some thorny type vines climbing onto the trees. Grab a plastic bag and not sure what kind of animal movement in the leaves, but we thought it better to go back this morning with sun.

Spent 5 hours in this area. There was a hidden creek that was 8 feet deep with trees all over this area and people have been living there. They have created a "A frame" structure to throw a tarp over during rains. Never found any people. Hot tip of the day, start digging unnatural looking mounds...this was gopher heaven. The last hour was taking my yellow highlighted map and assigning locations for 4 and 6 people groups for tomorrow's community search.....a side note: Keep in mind this place today is SECLUDED. So around noon, a guy just happens to drive up to see what we are doing. One of us says: community service, cleaning up trash. "No really, what are you doing?" We ask, "What street do you live on?" the answer doesn't exist around here. See Ya.

Wow great job and that sounds suspicious of that person. Where you able to coordinate with scemergency now on locations you already searched? Where are you meeting tomorrow and what time?

Yes, my searches have been looked at. A couple of the groups are true professionals with great equipment and will be given the more challenging locations. The group wants to keep first timers on easier locations and go from that point. I believe there is an email address to request to join the group that they give out the time and location of the initial gathering....my understanding is they might be putting people of like kind together.

Good luck today everyone out searching.

Chewing my fingernails...

please tell me you passed off info info about the surprise guest who gave you a bogus street name. A license plate number would be ideal...

be so so very careful ...

What happened to this man?

Sorry, I failed at getting the license plate from this guys car. Today was the public search and I met some of the BEST in our community. Williams wife Linda was there, her sister from the press conference was there, 3 of Williams sisters were there with their spouses, extended family BUT ABSENT, nephew, his bio dad and family member claiming the great relationship with Will. I have never been involved in such an organized professional group: SAR perhaps 10 4wd jeeps, a mobile radio command center, a stationary command center where we were checked in by photo ID, assigned to a group with a leader responsible to get them back for check out, assigned a location. Linda & family were given the task of placing 300 flyers with all businesses so they weren't in the search process. I was made a leader, was to have 3 cars and about 8 people follow me back to Dry Cyn. wash with a Pro in an easy to see orange S-10 Blazer at the end to keep everyone in line. When I get there, an additional 6 cars or about 20 people are at our location. We grid searched this entire area and each time someone had a questionable spot, I would run over with the shovel & turn dirt. A great man found a 5 lb. sledge head, broken handle with hair embedded was arranged for evidence retrieval. As I was leaving, the man living next to the access road stops me and says, "I got my motion detector video set up for Jan. 26th." I explain that would need the organizer to view it. Don't know the results of that but was copied for the detective. BUT, shortly after sending the organizer out, 1 of the search and rescue members heard me, mentioned another search on Jan. 15th for another case, asked to go back to see that and heard their vehicle was seen and documented. Rain is about to drop as I hit the "POST" button. Calif. is making up for the draught.

https://signalscv.com/2017/02/25/volunteers-scour-hills-missing-man/

In search of Valencia resident Will Cierzan, more than 40 volunteers equipped with radios, hiking boots and trekking poles, took to the hills Saturday morning.

Cierzan mysteriously disappeared from his home on Jan. 26.

“If it were one of my kids or my husband, I would want people to apply the same effort,” said Kari Dauer-Hewitt, an administrator of a social media group tasked with organizing the search.

“We’re sending small groups out with well-trained leaders into the areas of the community that need to be searched,” Hewitt said.

The group met in a shopping center parking lot near Copper Hill Drive and Avenida Rancho Tesoro and coordinated the effort at 8 a.m.

Is there another search planned? Great job today. I hope today's search turns up information. I googled Dry Canyon. Not that far from the home. How come they chose that spot. Do you know?

No formal search talked about for the future. There are 2 homes of importance. One home is 10 houses away from this secluded location and according to a neighbor that came over to help in the search claims the nephew grew up in this home and played in the field. This same neighbor is close enough to call the BIO dad on Friday Jan. 27th. I suggested the neighbor give this response and conversation to Det. Ralph Hernandez. Also, this location fits a timeline recreated Thursday evening Feb. 23rd.

During the morning check in and before going to our assigned locations, a lady was wearing a 6 Flags Magic Mountain jacket. So I initiate a conversation. She has worked in the same gift shop with Will. I asked about the nephew working at the same location as a parking attendant. "This was a very short employment. Seems the nephew got into a heated argument with a fellow parking attendant and was terminated". Can someone explain if you are in a line to send cars to a particular location HOW YOU GET INTO AN ARGUMENT WITH YOUR FELLOW WORKER?

What is the 2nd home of interest?

Why would this person call the bio dad on the 27th?

So it seems the search is still pointing toward a family member. I wonder why the neighbor never contacted LE before.

Is this also the same area you were searching earlier this week with the suspicious person or is this a different area?

Steph9676....yes, 3 times now. The gopher infestation is unreal. The gophers are nearly the size of a guinea pig in diameter and push up large mounds of dirt in a straight line looking like someone buried. There are many oak trees dropping leaves that become a mulch...lot of bug activity. Lots of tree branches touching the ground to the point of creating a drape difficult to see in.

The neighbor helping us today, close enough to call the nephews bio dad on the 27th, whether he calls Det. Ralph Hernandez or I am having the organizer get ahold of him, it will be told.

RAZZ: I love this site and those of you invested in this case. I don't want to chance getting banned. 2 of my first 5 posts were removed....both were public information we all can find on addresses associated with a name. Just like debbiegarcia36 posted todays search article from The Signal, I used the same newspaper that posts arrests records..
