Good point. I wanted to add that using a form of your real name as your screen name, as well as talking about things you've posted on Next-door (which displays your name AND address, unless you change your settings), are revealing and potentially dangerous. I've seen both done on this thread and have notified the mods, but I am not sure if anything was done. SCV is a small town. Unfortunately not small enough to find Will (yet). Stay safe!!

I was who did the Neighborhood site. My name and address isn't there.

Pouring eyes... Really should have said "peering eyes".
People behind a screen who are lurking may or may not be connected to this case.
Due to the unknown circumstances behind Will's disappearance, but understanding that foul play may have a role in all of this, it just just makes sense that searchers would need to be extra cautious.
We're not looking for trouble, we're doing our best to mitigate any potential dangers.
I'm not in the habit the habit of being paranoid, or super judgmental. In this case, I've made it abundantly clear that we aren't investigating, or trying to one up law enforcement. We really are just out searching for Will, hoping for the best, and being realistic about what may turn up.
Like I've always said, anyone is welcome to pm me.
I've always been tight lipped in the interest of safety and case preservation

TY for posting this. Making a forum private here is not so much about secrecy as it is about stopping those peering eyes. In a private forum only members of WS can read and post. A couple of posters suggested it early on. I have noticed that private forums produce some good case sleuthing, without distractions, but it's jmo.

If true this is strange, and highly concerning. I think most posters here came to the same conclusion when we first read about Mr. Cierzan's disappearance. Back on the first two pages many posters zeroed in on a particular person. I hope that LE is being updated if local people are being made uneasy by others there. However, for myself, I would prefer not to label anyone a "perp" until LE has done so, but that's jmo. What specifically has happened that makes you think some are "unhappy" with the searches ? TIA

Read Mad Dog's posts! His wariness of the searching situation began shortly after he searched somewhere near someone's house.

I hope he went straight to LE if he felt intimidated because of this. jmo

Hmmm.....
Wonder who's place they were looking at ?

Generally, if someone is getting paranoid about their property being searched-- there may be a good reason.

I do not have a good feeling about Will ; and DO hope there are answers soon !!!

They could still make an account. Imho

Also, I am s*l my personal info is easy to find. I spent 20 plus years living in a gated military community.

Usually when hubby leaves for work I dont turn the security system back on. The other morning I did because we have a lot of work being done on the hwy. behind us separated by woods.

ETA The one person I am concerned for is Will's wife.

Side door or back??

<neither Cierzan nor anyone else is captured entering or leaving the house.>

This house looks to be the same floor plan as mine. There is a door to the garage on the left of the front walk right before the front door. There is no side door at all. The living room is behind the garage. The two windows in the front of the house are small bedrooms and in my model there is another small bedroom with a window facing the right side of the house behind the front right hand bedroom. The kitchen is on the left behind the living room and the master bedroom is in the back right of the house. The only doors are the front door and the kitchen sliding door to the back yard.
I don't know how they can say that no one came or went out of the house if we can't even see if the big garage door was opened when the white SUV backed into the driveway or who out of back in??

Imho...I believe the key word is captured.

I'm beginning to think he ran away.

Without hid car, ID, money. Just seems strange he would leave so much behind.

I wonder, how far along was the meal? Was it done, and covered? Was it still in various prep stages?

Linda claimed it was cooked and on the stove, which had been turned off.

Which points more to order and perhaps a planned leaving. I wish we knew why the relatives truck showed up for 15 minutes. It's the absolute key.

I don't remember reading that they ever confiscated the vehicle from this family member as evidence, does anyone know? Also, what about the family member's computers, I hope they checked them as well. I certainly hope they've done both. What do we know, almost nothing, just frustrating. JMO

I don't think that we have ever heard anything other than the nephew is not considered a suspect by LE.

Sooo... the nephew is cleared, then ??
Also, the article (from post # 665) says that the nephew "..is not considered to be involved..." (paraphrased)

This does not mean he isn't a possible poi.

And what about the blood in the kitchen (this is the first time I've read exactly where the blood was found) , and the short visit from a relative --or at least a visit by someone in the relative's vehicle ?

Maybe he DID run away. In which case he's "o.k.". But then he'd have some 'splainin' to do !

Please note LE did not say nephew was not considered a suspect. This is a rumor growing legs. The writer of the media article interpreted it that way and that is what he or she wrote, however, it is not what LE said in the press conference.

Looks like we are still in the same place as when i went away.
I was hoping to read something good.

As far as members letting anything out that could hamper the case, not going to happen.
We can only post LE, MSN info with a link and opinions
We know what LE want us to know, what everyone knows.

I would suggest that if anyone has inside information, keep it to yourself as it is considered rumor here anyway. The mods say, if you can't say , then don't say you can't say. Just don't say it
Its for the good of all in the end

I admit I posted it in the beginning from msm.
After being on websleuths for only a short amount of time and when searching for facts on a case I prefer to get info direct from LE. Sometimes LE isn't out there with info so msm it is with hopes they are reporting the facts.
