Circumstances of Disappearance
Weinbender was living in an Apartment block on Selkirk Avenue in the North end of the City.He had a history of drug and alcohol abuse, which lead him to hang around with members of the public who would have taken advantage of him.
In and around the time that William went missing he had suffered an injury which had forced him to seek treatment at the Seven Oakes General Hospital in the evening of the 6th of May 1994. William was last seen outside the emergency doors which faced onto Leila Avenue. It is believed that this is where he met up with a person who may have had something to do with his disappearance.
