At about 11:42 a.m. on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, deputies from the Twin Peaks Station responded to a report of a deceased person in the area.

An autopsy was conducted the following day, revealing injuries consistent with a fall. The woman remains unidentified, and detectives are continuing their efforts to confirm her identity.

She is described as a White female adult, approximately 25 to 35 years old, who was wearing blue pants, a blue sweatshirt, and white tennis shoes at the time she was found.

Age was updated in this news report and seems more likely when looking at the sketch.

The unidentified woman, referred to as Jane Doe #162-25, is described as a female between 48 and 60 years old, standing 5 feet 1 inch tall and weighing approximately 115 pounds. She had bleached blonde hair, brown eyes, and no tattoos. She was wearing a blue sweatshirt, blue pants, and white and black New Balance shoes.”

Anyone from this area know how likely one is to hike out there without a car? I assume if she was from Crestline she would have been identified already.

This woman is 5'1, Angela Kewish is 5'7 - thought it might be her but the height difference is substantial.

from @charminglane 's link

Officials say the body is that of Aryan Papoli, a 58-year-old resident of Newport Beach who had previously been reported missing.

I am glad she was so quickly identified.

the news report says it was not immediately disclosed how recently she had been reported missing, only that she had.

however, if some instragram posts i found are referring to the same person, she won student of the month at some dance school as recently as october this year, and it was posted on 11/3. seems likely she would have been alive and seen by people in classes during october for that to happen.

yes, I get the feeling she wasn't missing for a long period. Probably what aided in them being able to put together a likeness and get her identified so quickly. Prayers for her loved ones.
