The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance locating a missing woman.

Ala Asadchaya, 41, was last seen on Wednesday, December 18, 2019, at 9 p.m., in the 12th Street and Lake Shore Boulevard West area.

She is described as 5’10”, 110 lbs., thin build, straight brown hair. She was last seen wearing black yoga style pants, a navy blue 3/4 length winter coat and navy blue winter boots with white fur trim.

If you read the coments at the police link in my previous post, it looks like this case was resolved around Christmas, unfortunately not with a positive outcome.

There was a mention in the comments of her being deceased (quoting a friend) and a link to a fundraiser for a Toronto family which lost their mom at Christmas 2019, organized by the Belarusian community in Toronto. Her name isn't mentioned in the fundraiser title.
