Yes, I too am curious about the FB profile of DG Tinkerbel1, please elaborate for us sleuthers lol!

As for DG working on the parents acreage/farm...

I am not aware of the exact ages of DG's parents. I think they are in their 70's. In the photo of Doreen Garland at the public meeting about the racetrack she does not look to be in her 80's. The land appears to be well kept and I assume the father Archie Garland takes very good care of his property most of the time. If AG is in his 70's or 80's and in good health he is perfectly capable of managing that property/acreage. They could also lease the land to someone who makes use of the crops and that person may also take care of that part of it.

Another reason I don't believe DG was the primary caretaker of the acreage is that the neighbours who called him a loner and never knew much else of him never said that he was always riding a tractor or working in the fields. The only thing I recall was that he would stare straight ahead as he drove past them on the road, not even a friendly wave. Maybe he had work in Galahad?

The facebook page for Douglas Garland was there on July 7th, but is no longer there. I know it was his because his sister's was still up that day and I cross-referenced them, there were a few common friends, however, PG and DG were not friends with each other (which is not a big deal IMO, I'm not friends with one of my brothers either...and there's no bad blood, just don't see it as necessary or even remotely useful). PG took her FB account off that night as it was gone by Tuesday morning (July 8th). The Douglas Garland FB accounts remaining are not the ones I had seen, I distinctly remember 3 young people from the US on his friends list because I remember being creeped out a bit by it, the girls in particular were very provocative looking and very young...I suppose they could have been relatives but I jumped to conclusions and just got creeped out. The young male had a 'skater' or 'rapper' look to him. It just seemed odd. I wish I could remember what games he was playing, but I don't. I do remember thinking that his page looked very desolate. Nothing on there really, and not even a lot of friends...maybe 40 tops.

IMO, one doesn't lead a dishonorable life - petty crime, drug manufacturing... etc., reform and lead a quiet existence of FB games and farming, only to suddenly commit a violent mass murder that includes a young child.

He was doing *something* which may very well include other violent crimes.

I agree and in some worlds that lifestyle is not considered dishonorable.
