any accountant types on here? I was just sleuthing my sunburn away and it's too complex for me to write it out but winterpet never went bankrupt,, as mentioned too hard to explain but their assets were pretty good for a junior junior; 145 sections of land and 2.5 MMcf/d (which I'm about to phone my sister about as she's a forensic acct for BIG junior o&g's).

to make your googlin easier, copy paste this query > current 2014 value of 2.5MMcf/d? <

^^^BBM

The land value alone is a fairly good chunk of 'asset'...92,800 acres...no matter where it is...and if it's oil producing....well...there ya go...JMO

ETA: Just as an example of crazy land prices - my B-I-L just sold 1280 acres (2 sections of a 10 section farm) ..no buildings...no mineral resources...& he sold cheap....almost 1/2 million.

AL's son CL went to Cow Lake High, so I guess Cowichan Lake.

Yes, Cowichan Secondary is in Duncan and Lake Cowichan and Shawnigan Lake are close by. They're all close to each other, not far drives.

DG burned evidence in his yard on July 1st - Canada Day. I'm sure of it. His neighbors witnessed him burning outside.

So. My basic theory is that he murdered and dumped them within a rural area known to him, possibly right after he left their house.

I think he drove away from the crime scene and away from his home. Likely in a north-westerly direction.

He may have already had the location of an abandon well in mind and planned, or maybe just an isolated area.

Dump, return home and burn his clothing etc. Burn the mats from his truck, whatever else he thought he may have to do.

2 flaws in my theory though - risk being seen driving, and it doesn't explain why he was up at 3 a.m. in the greenhouse

I like your theory and pretty much agree.

I'm guessing here, but he probably knew he had to drive somewhere at some point, but maybe if he didn't drive far, not as big as a risk?

3am in the greenhouse could have been him spraying down (there might be a hose in greenhouse) 'tools' he might've used (wheelbarrow, shovel, etc.)

Didn't some people here theorize there might've been a drop hole in the greenhouse? Did we ever confirm? Maybe that drop hole was his hiding spot for a weapon, box of keepsakes, documents, or his stash spot for things. Maybe he was in there cleaning out his hiding spot in case LE came knocking? Just guessing.

Wonder girl. I like the simplicity of your theory. I don't think "risk being seen driving" is a flaw in your theory. Every aspect of this crime contains an element of risk of being caught. Obviously the simple act of driving in the vicinity of the crime scene was risky, and sure enough, DG was caught on CCTV.

IMHO

Yes, Cowichan Secondary is in Duncan and Lake Cowichan and Shawnigan Lake are close by. They're all close to each other, not far drives.

There is also a little picturesque town called Youbou tucked into the woods further west of Cowichan Bay, and I am fairly certain the students would attend HS in Duncan (unless they went to one of the 3 private schools near by). Mill Bay and Shawnigan are not far from Cowichan/Duncan, either. The south Island is dotted with small towns and communities which more or less blend into one another, in a sense. The municipal boundaries and districts are best seen on a map. Property in that area is sought after for its rural appeal while being close enough to bigger towns and Victoria is just a quick drive over the Malahat. There is quite a dense population in the south Island but there also a deceiving sense of space and privacy, if that makes any sense.

Well, I am throwing my hands up and going to try and take a break for a while. I have sleuthed non-stop for days and tried to post but it didn't work out. I do send certain connections to LE so even if not allowed here I still get it to them somehow and what they do with it is in their control. If anything new comes up I will be back for sure! I need to see if I can break myself away from all this. Ciao for now!

Thanks Power of Two, I was pondering looking into Youbou, maybe I will to cross it off the list. Did not think about Youbou residents going to the HS in Duncan. I'll try the other communities too.

I've been to those areas quite a bit (as you have too by the sounds of it) and you're so right, they're little communities with lots of wooded areas in between, close together but spaced out. I'm wondering if there's any link? Hard to tell...

I was looking for WP stuff and this was probably posted or talked about, but a Transport Services website came up with WP as a linked Alberta company.

No biggie, but when I go to see the website is registered to, it's registered to M$*@ (rhymes with scary) Smith in get this - Panama.

So then I google MS's email address listed for the website domain and there's 142 websites linked to MS's email address (one website is chemicalscout.com-but no website, so not being used and chemicalarchive.com which leads back to a website identical in design, layout, colors to the Transport Services one). Those are just a couple, I haven't finished looking through them.

What coincidences, I'm sure it keeps going and going and going!

http://www.chemicalarchive.com/

LoisLane: when I reverse search MS's phone number German stuff comes up, and a German company. Also on the Transport Services and Chemical Archive website the pages names on the bottom are in German.

I made a personal note to LoisLane, because German language things keep coming up it seems when she and I have googled/researched things lately

ETA: This website also connected to everything above's registration info was updated 16 days ago, by who? Might be automated?

Well, LL and Lala.... Great sleuthing, but you have me stumped with this post. I am not following at all. The furnitureguide.info portal seems be be businesses in Australia and NSW. SL has left us with a cliffhanger, as well.

It's just a series of coincidental information that link together, and just peculiar! Nothing too crazy really.

Winter Petroleum is listed as a company (along with many others) to the Transport site.
The transport site is registered to a M*#$ Smith in Panama.
AL supposedly had ties to Panama, KL ties to online websites, so naturally I thought of them.

Now back to MSmith - this person has 142 websites domains registered to her email - not a big deal in internet marketing really but then I saw that chemical archive.com, chemicalunion.com and transportservices.com was registered, they obviously jumped out! I couldn't help think of DG.

So really, just strange. I'm sure it's nothing, but the sleuther in me just can't figure it out.

The chemicalunion.com site info was just updated July 22nd also (link below), so obviously AL,KL nor DG aren't running these, but thought to share anways.

I am stumped too.. I am wondering if this is connected to KL's web business. Panama is always a humdinger! I will look with fresh eyes tomorrow.

Yes, no revelations here.

It's just feels like there's a big, big intricate web of information and it all seems to be eerily connected to key words that keep coming up: Panama, internet marketing, businesses (shell?), bankruptcy, chemicals, transport, equipment, etc.

It's probably just internet marketing grabbing at every type of business out there, so probably nothing.

If you change the 'location/area' to 'Parkhill', it still shows '2'... it shows 3 in a different area, is that what you're seeing?

Upon expanding the pin on the map that shows '3' , 2 of the dates are 2014/06/29 at 10 pm. The other entry shows a homicide on 2014/09/14 at 11:30 am.

I recall seeing that report, but I did not equate 'lots of blood' to 'blood everywhere'..

Me neither. To me it could mean lots of blood on the bed in the bedroom.

Have you tried Pemberton?
