Regarding FC, that B&E with the older couple... that was during the same incident as the night he shot EL.

Some people just seem to choose paths that are not in their best interest. It's very hard to get out of them once in. I hope she's made some changes since then, she's a beautiful girl and obviously is a mother that is hopefully setting a better example for her child as it grows up. FC sounds like he's lived a hard live and is definitely paying for it with his health. I thought that he was charged with committing a b&e on an elderly couple he had worked with along with some weapons charges after this shooting.

....so obviously he had not left "that" lifestyle behind after he and EL broke off their relationship.

I found the picture. You can see the stain on the garage really clearly hear between LE's heads. I think the picture near the bottom of the garage was right below this stain. To me it looks like someone must have been bleeding quite a bit and was leaned against the door to prop them up.
Again I apologize if this was said but I haven't been able to get this picture out of my head since the beginning.

Approximately what height would you put that stain at? I'm seeing 2...one on the side of the garage door frame in one of the pics, and one right on the garage door in the other pic. I'm not sure which one you're referring to. If it's the one one the door frame, then it's likely KL's height? The one right on the door is roughly at NO's height? I'm not sure I'm even understanding this right.

I was referring to the side mark. I thought the smaller, lower one is a smear mark but now I am not sure.

If it is smeared all over the garage door is that all blood or does the purple color wherever it is applied and it has darker spots that show blood or whatever it is used for. Is it also used for fingerprints?

It was not a report but me sharing an experience for the benefit of those here. If it was wrong to name the reporter then that is my fault and not hers. For her it was an off the record, friendly discussion. You would know that in your capacity.

Sorry, I just grabbed some time to finally read that news article about this different case, so this is not a timely reply. That story is just incredibly sad.
You were saying that it seems fitting for conversations going on here in WS. I agree.
The thing is though.... if LE only release minute amounts of information, and MSM reports on that minute amount of information, unfortunately I think it is human nature that minds start 'sleuthing', and unfortunately, what the human mind might conjure up can be so many times worse than reality.
That is part of what really bugs me about this particular case, because I think that LE are quite aware of human nature, and so by saying less, are they in effect creating a drama which then leads further and further.
For example, the other day we were talking about how more basic info was obtained thru a brief video statement from the prosecutor, more than what had been given regarding same, by LE.
There are certainly ways to give still a minute amount of info, but enough that it does not cause liability issues regarding the accused, nor risk issues regarding the prosecution, enough that all parties are considered, including the public's quest for info. So it makes me feel sometimes, even though some will go on about how the public is not entitled to know anything, LE cannot risk their eventual court case, and etc., at the same time, being the humans that we are, and knowing that everyone knows this, it creates thinking and thoughts leaning in a certain direction, which may or may not be necessarily correct. And those thoughts and leanings will continue on until the facts are known during the trial. In the meantime, certain thoughts may have been in the publics' minds for years.
So while I am sure that giving very very little information is considered safe, sometimes giving just a tiny bit more information is more fair and even safer.
Another thing is, this is obviously not a high profile case, and in fact it isn't a case at all. LE searched an area, looked into things, and yet it took the family going out there themselves into the exact same area, for closure to be found. That really bugs me too. I am not anti-LE by any means, but yet I still wonder if they are always on the top of their game, looking in all directions even tho one direction may 'seem' leading.

The side mark wasn't actually there prior to LE doing their investigation. There was a perfect shot of that 'garage-door-opener' in one of the videos I came across a few days ago, which was from early in the case. Unfortunately at the time, I did not know how to grab a picture from the video, but I asked if everyone else had seen it. I believe that now, in the picture you have posted, that is all marked up with whatever it is that LE puts on to try to get prints, or determine if something is a certain substance. Originally, before LE touched it, it wasn't messed up there, however, underneath the opener, there were what looked to be definite streams of blood. In fact, it took my breath away when I saw it. If anyone knows which video that was shown in, please let me know and I'll grab a photo of it now that I know how to do it. I have tried searching back for that, and I can't find it now

While I am on here....Cherchri...I myself miss seeing your thoughtful & well written posts around here...not only for your first hand accounting from the court room....but your input in general...

I've been here on the forums for a few years...mainly silent...LOTS of reading...until this case...

I've seen in many many threads....a mass of posting when a case is fresh and new...when information is coming out fast & furious...

Then...when things die down a bit in msm etc...things here tend to get quiet...or heat up in some cases...

I've not been on this case page nearly as much as in the summer...but I keep getting drawn back...so many unanswered questions..theories...but unfortunately we probably won't get a lot of answers to...until next year or later...

Anyways...just wanted to say...my inbox is always open...and I hope you..feel you can jump in whenever the heck you like...

That goes for anybody actually....input is always good...brainstorming & 'aha' moments are always appreciated!
