I've lost track of the point of all this discussion about the adult son, what his age is or whether he was living with his parents or not, and if so, whether it was a normal situation or failure to launch.

If he lived at home at the time of the murders - so what? He wasn't there that night. Too bad, maybe another adult in the home might have tipped the odds against the killer, especially if the killer wasn't expecting anyone else besides the Ls. So I'm not sure how the son's living arrangements come into play. But I'm open to hearing more.

His age - also would like to know what aspect of the crime this pertains to, if any. I'm not saying it has to, people are free to bring up whatever they like.

I'm guessing this is all in support of a theory. I'm interested in hearing it.

I googled bg removal and they have another facebook page that has posts back to 2010. This page though is still being updated. So they must be updating their old group and new group. KL liked the new page though so I don't think she liked it before Sept 2014 which can't be true if she or someone else is not still using her facebook account.
Have to grab my son from school but will look into this more later.

oh right "Like" pages not friend requests, my bad. But, once again, someone has to actively engage their mouse to move the cursor to the like button and activate it. if there were FB robots liking pages, it would be odd that they would like those specific companies. have you reported this?

The point was, if you think the adult child lives at home, then you are accusing LE of being incompetent. There is an equation here somewhere to prove it... let be grab my book.

These are moving companies that KL has 'liked' on FB and these companies show activation of the FB acct. in September of 2014. They are based in the UK. I am trying to see if she created the domains or pages etc... but, I suffer in that dept.

The reason I bring it out here is because it shows that KL has liked 2 business pages and those pages are showing as being created in Sept. 2014. We are trying to determine if the pages were inactive and re-activated in September to rule out ongoing user activity under KL's FB profile.

FWIW, the friend CH in her TV interview on global, preceding the memorial for the L couple said that KL & AL met when they worked in the same building. I also believe she said Kl was working in social services at the time?

If the story of them retiring to Mexico and Evansburg (?) sometime before the end of July are true, JL would've needed a new place to live regardless. It was stated sometime around the balloon launch or vigil, that JL had been staying with JO and family. I assumed at the time it was for support and not because he had been living in the PH home.

now that snow is flying, it seems so unlikely these people will be found anytime soon. That said, the recent developments in the mcstay case gives me renewed hope that one day the L's and NO will be found and properly laid to rest.

Even if there was account activity, it could just be someone with access doing random things to drive would-be sleuthers nuts. LE would be the one with the legal authority to get to the bottom of it.

But would they? With a finite amount of resources and time, and a determination of death, would they bother looking at it? If there were any ambiguity in the evidence they were using to determine death, then online account activity becomes somewhat relevant.

I just thought I'd toss that in there after all the debate about competence vs. incompetence. A lot of what happens is choices being made, to the best of one's ability, with the information and resources you have at the time of the choice. It's easy to say after the fact, that you should have known this or that piece of information was relevant...

The overall point being LE has a tough and scrutinized job like no other. The individuals that choose to put themselves in that often no-win situation, deserve acknowledgement now and again...

I'm not sure there is anything to report yet. I checked to see if these companies have KL webpages but I don't think so. Not sure why she (or someone using her account) would chose to "like" those particular UK based companies ?

Is the first page where it says you joined FB dated the new date that you entered? Did you have any previous posts? Were they deleted up to the current date of your new date? These two moving co's show no activity prior to the join date. I will check to see if I can find any old posts or dates on images. Thanks Lala!

The first page/what I first see is still old posts of mine from 2011, when I scroll to the very bottom after my 2011/2010 posts it says 'Created in September 2014' so I don't see any posts prior to 2010. It does not say 'Joined' but 'Created'.

I took another look and I think that's the only place to change the creation date. You're right those companies didn't have older posts so they could be new.

I think somehow it does blend together. They are all moving companies that KL has some sort of interest in whether it be personal or business.

Yellowbird is linked to her best friend's CH husband KH, whether it was a domain switch (I don't know if I am using the correct term) or linked to the gambling company further down in that report. Further sleuthing shows that it is in fact KH and the welding tag and phone number that was used along with a reverse number search takes us to his welding co. in Canmore. The changes (removal) of KH took place 4 days before the L. disappearance.

What is up with these moving companies? Are they legit? Why did KL focus on them?

Kathryn Liknes had a diploma in print making in the 1980s, so it would be unusual that she would work in Social Services. Her friend runs a daycare, and Kathryn helped out at the daycare sometimes.

For sure! Once we hear all the evidence I can just see myself placing the pieces together, either frantically completing a puzzle or starting from scratch. I just hope that if we came up with one little sensible piece they may have missed that it will contribute in some sort of resolve in this case.

I always thought that in the early few days that anything WS found would have been easily obtained by LE and their own resources. I imagine that LE would be more interested in what we come up with now to see what loose pieces we could collect and if it serves any relevance to what they may need.

I also think that if a victim read the posts today and learned about the activity on KL's FB they would certainly ask LE for clarification. But maybe LE and the victim's family already knew about it and it is not relevant at all or easily explained.
