Is it common for the defense to concede that all evidence was treated properly? The only other trial I have followed is the bosma trial and I don't remember an agreed statement of facts regarding evidence collection. Why would the defense concede to that? Wouldn't they want to leave that little bit of doubt in the jury's mind that maybe the evidence was contaminated?

I did attend a high profile case here in Ont. saw the same. Not much was challenged by the Defense. Saw to it Rafferty received a fair Trial. I actually liked the Defense Lawyer as shocking as that may be lol. Rode the elevator with him a few times and in line for coffee. Benign convo of course. In essence I agree with Kamille. Sometimes the evidence is so overwhelming there is not much to challenge. Especially in horrific crimes.
