Now that we know that Kathy and Noah's blood/DNA were found in the spare room, do we think they came upstairs to sleep OR....did they hear a commotion and come running upstairs to see what was happening? I can envision them backing into the spare room if DG charged them. At which point both Kathy and Noah are beaten by DG.

I also think Kathy started coming around at which point he hit again with the dumbbell from the garage which would have been the major blow.

I was corrected on this before, but for some reason I seem to think that I had the impression that Kathy was more injured than anyone else while still at the house and perhaps mortally. This would explain it. Her blood was the drag marks, her blood on the dumbbell in the basement, her blood in the upstairs bedroom and on the stairs I believe.

This was one brutally savage attack. MOO

I think they had come upstairs to sleep. I just do. I agree on all your thoughts about Kathy.

IMO he did not forget the kill kit. The kit was meant for when they got to the farm. Whatever weapon he entered the house with we may never know but I do believe he had something hidden on him. None of the video spoke to him carrying anything walking up to the house. He could have had a knife. Stun gun. Whatever concealed on his person. Given the over turned TV in Master it does speak to a struggle with Alvin. I am sure Kathy and Alvin put forth an immense struggle knowing little Nathan was in the house. More than killer expected so he used the barbells. IMO his intent was to disable and follow thru with whatever at the farm.

I find it interesting that Alvin's blood was found on one dumbbell and Kathy's on the other. Are we to assume that DG used the dumbbells to injure Alvin and Kathy? After all his research and planning, it appears that he used something other than a weapon he brought himself.

Anyone else thinking this?

Yes this crossed my mind. I found it weird. I wonder what he brought with him weapon wise.
