Just thinking of Amber so much, and wanted to post my favorite picture.

I followed this case at the onset. Thankfully I did see the Trial had started. Any ideas on how especially the earrings got in the bush? Especially with one earring hanging on the bush. Do you think Amber got away initially? Yet the pants are there? Any theories?

This picture was shown to the jury as Amber's friends were testifying. It is the group picture taken by Mason Campbell just before the girls left in the first cab.

This is an extreme blow up of Amber's face in an attempt to see Amber's feather earrings--which were found hanging on a bush on Heathbell Road--a few yards from where her remains were found.

As of right now--always subject to change, of course--I can't see that Amber got away from him at all.

I think we are going to hear that her top and her shoes were found in the area between Dooly's and Big Al's Convenience.

If that is the case, I would say he deliberately threw her clothes and possessions around--marking certain spots; abduction, burial, etc. It makes me too angry to think why he would have done this--I can't go there right now.

I had been thinking that he held her alive for sometime, but after today's testimony maybe it's safe to put those thoughts away.

It goes into some of the details he was asked on cross, such as this: Quote: Under cross-examination, Taylor asked Campbell about an assault charge involving a wooden spear. Campbell said the matter was settled with a peace bond because he wanted to "turn the page on that situation".

Mason Campbell went to bed at about 4 a.m. on Oct. 9, 2011 with two cell phones and the land line phone by his bed, waiting for a call from his girlfriend.

But when he awoke later that morning, Amber Kirwan still hadn’t called.

And this last one should take you to a video of the evening news. Amber's case is quite near the start, and the segment devoted to it is only about 3 minutes.

I believe it is the Crown attorney that gives a brief but interesting interview--if my link works. (I apologize for not knowing, but due to computer issues I can't watch the CBC videos on line. I have to catch them live.)

He discusses why he questioned Campbell concerning duct tape and a small shovel that were found by law enforcement when they searched his vehicle; and also a tire iron that was missing from his vehicle.

He said he thought the jury might find those facts interesting. So do I.

I would give anything to be able to watch that interview again. (I was only half watching as I was busy at the time.)
