I cant even come up with a witness Taylor could call. Tough case for the Defense. Kinda. IMO. Falconers own words and cell evidence place him in the Trailer and the area. Who could refute that? Eye witness is the least reliable.

I'm hoping for Dean, Owens, and Campbell--Mason's mother, at least.

I'm concerned about this break, though.

It was a Crown request

Waiting for judge to return with decision on crown's request. Depending on what his decision is, I may be able to report it

Scott Falconer called to stand. The issue of Falconer's father being in court for most of trial now being discussed. Jury asked to leave.

Yes why was Scott Falconer in the Court room all this time if he was a witness???

  • #895
Even the Defense publicly admitted the Jail house tapes were damaging. (Not verbatim) So I guess their only hope is for Falconer Sr. to try and "explain" the context of the conversation. Yet if the Defense intended to call him why was he in the Courtroom :banghead:

Messy! The defence (if someone is paying them the big bucks) could call their own experts to contrast the experts presented by the Crown.

Must be a moot point LOL :seeya:

I've been away for a few minutes, but I guess this is what this break is about. I'm surprised that they didn't have this all worked out before hand. I don't know what's really behind this.

Decision weighed by judge is whether Scott Falconer is allowed
To testify considering he present for part of trial

Was Falconer Sr. present the day of the jail house tapes? I cant remember? I wonder if that would be an exception? By the time I dig up the link the Judge will likely have a decision LOL. I doubt he has much to say that will "explain".
