The Winnipeg Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing 91-year-old, ANNA POLGAR.

POLGAR was last seen in the 400 Block of Tache Avenue at approximately 9:44 am on Saturday January 24, 2026.

POLGAR is described as 152cm in height, Medium build, with Grey hair. POLGAR was last seen wearing a white long sleeve shirt, black jacket, black pants and dark grey shoes.

The Winnipeg Police Service activates a silver alert when a vulnerable adult person is reported as missing.

The Winnipeg Police Service is concerned for POLGAR’s well-being and is asking anyone with any information regarding their whereabouts to contact the Winnipeg Police Service Missing Persons Unit at 204-986-6250.

Moo...it was like minus 30, there was a few days of extreme cold while she is lost. I hope she is safe n warm somewhere.

It looks like there are a lot of medical buildings in the area. I wonder if she was last seen at an appointment in one of them. They should be checking all the closets and basement areas in those buildings.
