This involves someone from Ancaster, visiting Toronto.
http://www.torontosun.com/news/torontoandgta/2011/02/18/17333541.html
Two doctors have been charged with drugging and gang raping a young woman at a downtown Toronto hotel last weekend, Toronto Police said Friday.

The co-accused met the 23-year-old victim Sunday in a bar at a hotel near Queen St. W. and University Ave., police alleged.

“The two men are doctors and met the woman under the pretence of providing her with career advice,” police said.

The woman was later led by the two men to a second bar in the area of Wellington St. and Spadina Ave., police said.

“(While there) an unknown substance was put in the woman’s drink,” police alleged.

The woman was then taken back to the hotel and sexually assaulted, police alleged.

Amitabh Chauhan, of Ancaster, and Suganthan Kayilasanathan, of Markham, are each charged with administering a noxious thing and gang sexual assault, police said

So, it looks like that Scott Park Secondary (high?) school has been shut down. Did Ms. Gleave ever work there? I know that sometimes, schools' names changed or they are merged.

"...Audrey was a teacher at Hill Park Secondary School in Hamilton and then taught general science and physics at Hamilton’s Westdale Secondary School for about a decade. Former students said she also taught at Barton Secondary School in Hamilton..."

Are any of these schools connected with Scott Park Secondary?

Scott Park closed down years ago. It has no connection to the other schools besides being in the same board of education.

I just find it interesting that a possible relative of Scott's lives in Portland, Oregon and is so deeply involved in searching for Kyron and for David Durham, the man who recently shot and seriously wounded a police officer on the Oregon coast. At first I thought it was just a random post but being that he's 47 and states that he attended the school in Hamilton, ON, I'm not so sure.

I might have mentioned (struggling to catch back up here) that we have a transient man here in Ashland who is diagnosed with schizophrenia. He recently burned down 11 homes by starting a cooking fire on a very hot dry day. After being found innocent of that crime, he was arrested for throwing traffic cones onto the highway from the overpass in a fit of rage. He refuses medication and treatment. We've had in depth front page articles on just how our community and state have no recourse against his actions nor any services for him. He repeatedly accosts, curses at, and frightens people with his screaming and aggressive panhandling. He also lives in a derelict barn....or did until he burned it down. I wonder if Ashland police are following Scott's case? It could be helpful. I'm hopeful that this case reopens the debate on services for our mentally and/or untreated population.

Scroll down to the article "What Do We Do With John Thiry?" on 1/30/11. It's imbedded in a pdf at this site. Our local news is by subscription only. I've known of this man ever since we moved to Ashland 17 years ago and I'd have to agree that his behaviors are escalating. The 11 homes he burned down were directly behind my home and I was waiting for evacuation help as I can't walk. It was extremely frightening. My heart goes out to John as I don't think he has a clue to how scary he is. But could he commit a crime like Scott?

The folks at psychiccrimefighters profiled a Southwestern Ontario serial killer on the Sonia Varaschin thread. They think the SK looks like the guy from the Highlander movies. David Anthony Durham does look similar to the Highlander.

Quoted from a newspaper article.. interviewing Sgt Hrab:
When asked why it took six weeks to make the arrest, he said, "It's one thing to have a high-priority suspect, it's another thing to be able to satisfy the legal requirements we're guided by."

Nicole O’Reilly Sat Feb 19 2011 Recommend Family of missing woman holding on to hope
http://www.thespec.com/news/local/article/489855--family-of-missing-woman-holding-on-to-hope
MISSING Terri Condon, 33, has been missing since August
Special to the Spectator
“Hey Terri, it’s Pooh Bear. Please get in touch and let us know you are safe. Love Tasha.”

That’s the message Tasha Condon wishes could reach her sister, Terri Condon, who has been missing from her Hamilton apartment since August.

Terri, a 33-year-old mother of two, has gone missing before, but never this long. She has been involved in the local drug scene and would sometimes go several weeks without contacting family, but would never miss her daughters’ birthdays.

Obviously, being involved with the local drug scene is not good, but in Hamilton.......the local drug scene seems to be particularly dangerous for one's well-being, in my opinion.

Please forgive me, but I also don't get the link between this murder in Lynden and something committed in a US state far away.

Also, I don't know who the SK is to whom you refer. Kindly enlighten me/us.

Thanks in advance.:innocent:

My guesses for SK:

- Saskatchewan
- Serial Killer
- ...hmm, cannot think of anyone with those initials

AngelInDark, is this the guy you are referring to in that movie? http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000483/

and who is David A. Durham?

I think I just figured out who/what SK is - in the post where we see 'SK' there's a mention of "serial killer". So, I'm assuming that's what it is.

Am I right..............:tyou:

Now about this: and who is David A. Durham......I don't have a clue!!:blushing:

ETA: To AngelInDark: Do you have a link for this phrase you posted, please:

Sorry guys. I'm just now seeing this. That's my point. I don't get it either. A person using the screen name of GradyPDX wrote a comment at the bottom of an article about the murder and said that he was Scott's step-brother (see my post #530). I was curious as to the PDX as that's how Portland's airport is referred to--like SFO or LAX. It's also kind of a shorthand for the city itself. I checked to see if this person was posting other info concerning Scott as I was curious to to see what else I might learn.

I was surprised (very) to find this person quite involved and entrenched in the search for Kyron; to the point that he's set up Flicker pages of photos and seems to be in some sort of of a serious disagreement with other searchers. In looking further, he's involved with a blog about David Durham, the man who shot the Oregon LEO last month.

At first I thought that this poster might be bogus and just trying to fuel the flame by saying what a horrible guy Scott has always been. Then, I googled the name and it was not hard to find him. It turns out that the man attended school in Hamilton, ON. Being that GradyPDX is from Hamilton, it seems quite possible that he is indeed related to Scott as I've read that Scott was local to Hamilton. I saved a number of pages in case they disappear. I do NOT want to come across as disrespectful of this person. I was merely trying to find out what else he might have written about his step-brother and was taken aback at what I found. Could all be totally innocent and above board. Just odd that there's a possible link between three very high profile cases.

As a personal aside, most regular WSers know that I have a degenerative CNS disorder. I have frequent seizures which leave me unable to think very clearly for a few days. Interestingly enough, I can usually perform my daily "job" of exposing all the pedophiles who have been arrested (that's my personal agenda) but have a hard time following a thread. Trust me when I say that I'll always be back and I am reading and sleuthing. I just hate to embarrass myself by sounding like I'm posting drunk. I do drink a glass of wine each evening but I'm not drunk.....I just sound and look and write like I am LOL. If anyone ever needs my input, please send me a PM and alert me. Thank you guys so much for being caring.

To the best of my knowledge, the forensics for this case and all cases investigated in Ontario would have been sent to the Ontario Centre for Forensic Science in Toronto. Here is a link to their webpage on the Ministry of Corrections site showing their target times for different types of cases submitted...

http://www.mcscs.jus.gov.on.ca/engl...aseCompletionTargets/CFS_case_completion.html

According to this, their target time for homicide investigations is 60 days. So if they were able to get these results done in 46 days, I suppose that was a rush. We only have one lab for all of Ontario and it's terribly backlogged I'm sure.

I do think they rushed the forensics but 46 days (or whatever it was) was the best they could do.

The item that was collected by LE in that video that was posted does appear to be an older style small hand held saw. These are used primarily by gardeners for tree and shrub pruning. It looks very similar to one my father used to keep in his garage. Silver colour handle with small blade. It is possible that AG had this tool as I believe it might be a similar older style saw. AG has been there for around 30 years so I would imagine there were a lot of older tools in her garage.

It was stated that items had been taken from AG's home. There is also the question of the "other injuries" that LE are being tight lipped on. I wonder if the saw was used and whether it might have been found in the garage with her other gardening implements.

I was looking up old cases in Hamilton and ran across a horrific trial concerning a mother who subjected her two daughter to vile satanic practices. I found this:

http://www.rrj.ca/m3583/ (about the reporters' struggles to cover the story)

and

http://www.thecomputermechanics.com...ng-mother-they-accused-of-horrific-sexual-abu

(about the fact that the mother is now looking for her children so they can donate a kidney to her--no I did not make this up)

This occurred in Hamilton, Ontario in 1986-1987 and an 18 month long hearing ensued. Video from the children, the mother, and doctors were played. A third daughter born to the woman was removed from her at birth but subsequently returned, after she became a Christian.

"...At the end of the marathon 18-month-old child welfare hearing, district court Judge Thomas Beckett said he believed the children's allegations of terrible sexual abuse by their mother, her ex-husband and a boyfriend and ruled that none of the parents should see the girls again. He called Wells a "pathetic woman" who desperately needed help.
"Sadly, life has dealt her little happiness, but much sadness and brutality." The Hamilton police never fully believed the girls' stories of ritual abuse and no criminal charges were ever laid. But the judge said that while he couldn't rule on the truth of those allegations, he was convinced that the children's "rich detail" was evidence enough of deep trauma...."

FWIW, the children began disclosing this information immediately upon arriving at a foster home in Hamilton at the ages of 4 and 7 years. A chronology of the case is at the second link with thees notations:

"OCT. 20, 1984
Mother moves with two daughters to Hamilton, where boyfriend is completing degree at McMaster University."

"MARCH 1985
Fire on set at prop warehouse for CHCH-TV, where girls alleged they were filmed in child 🤬🤬🤬🤬."

"APRIL 16, 1985
Second fire at CHCH-TV; girls say mother set a building on fire." [Note: This date is a Satanic ritual date]

"JUNE 25, 1985
Team of child abuse specialists at Toronto Hospital for Sick Children conclude girls telling the truth."

"JULY 7, 1985
Police take girls on tour of Toronto-area graveyards looking for cemetery where alleged satanic rituals took place."

I have no idea if this is pertinent. I've suspected since day one that there could be an occult component to this murder and was just surprised to find this case. I don't believe it's been mentioned on the thread. I wonder which cemetery the girls reported being taken to. I wonder if there are still members of this group in the area. Ms. Gleave would have been teaching in 1987 and she would have lived in the home where she was murdered.

Just curious.

"The descriptions of midnight graveyard scenes with dancing and singing, of people with masks, of opening of graves and coffins together with gross sexual activities suggests cult activities," Beckett said. "The children gave graphic descriptions of the murder of children as well as adults, of dismemberment, of cutting flesh from bones.
