I have a question:

Do we know PK's whereabouts PRIOR to the murder? At home? At school? With friends? With family?

Basically, does he have an air-tight alibi?

Would seem that is not the case, given LE has been pushing for additional detail in that regard:

excerpts from:

As for myself, I spent the 26th-28th with my wife and the 29th at work. …

Oh, and they have asked me to recount 4 or 5 separate times every detail I can remember about what I did and where I was from the 25th to the morning of the 30th …

If he spent the 26th to 28th with AK and went to work on the 29th, where was AK on the 29th? Did he drive her to work that morning (as he says he drove her to work the morning of the 30th, prior to finding AG's body).

NSU, your cupcake brings us back to THE CAKE !!! Did he get out of his car, expecting to meet and greet AG cake in hand, open the garage door, find AG's body, dial 911, go back to check for a pulse, return to the car ... what was the cake doing during all this? Was it found placed delicately in the garage? Was it sitting in the car waiting? Waiting for what? If it existed, it should have been in his hands because he would have had no reason to NOT have it with him if he expected AG to be alive and well.

Other than spouses corroborating each others account, who else can corroborate that PK and AK were together at all times from the 26th to 28th? Most young couples with familys would be out and about, visiting with family and friends during the holiday season.

Other than WS, the only other google hit re the "rebel souls ..." is this chilling account:

from:
http://traverstravels.org/travel-44-countries/sub-continent/afghanistan/

I was born with a 6-gun in my hand and rebel souls and deserters we are called. We choose a gun and threw away the sun and will always be on the run till the day I die!! I love to kill in cold blood and we are one bad company. I’ll make my final stand behind the gun until the day I die . That’s why they call me Bad company and I can’t deny it, till the day I die, Till the day I die

ETA: (again;)) Using "rebel souls deserters we've been called" (with "we've been" instead of "we are"), a lot more hits come up:

Yes.....THE CAKE!

Was it still warm?

Was he wearing oven mitts?

Where did the cake end up?

Do LE have the cake?

What kind of container was it in - yes, it was a bundt cake but was the container glass or something else? If dropped, glass would have shattered!

AND........HOW ARE WE CERTAIN HE EVEN WENT THERE TO DELIVER THE CAKE?

:cupcake:

BTW: I STILL think the killer had AG locked up in her house for a number of days/hours AND I think the killer sent the 'Amazing Grace' vid.

Oh, and do we have proof (from LE) that PK 'found the vid on his computer in an e-mail' when he said he did?

AND - what are "the discrepencies" in PK's polygraph?

AND - was PK's wife aware of where he was during the murder?

AND - is the wife covering for him?

**This case takes the cake**

ETA: This quote from sillybilly is priceless:

More cake issues/questions:

1. How do we even KNOW that a cake was baked and delivered to Audrey? (The garden story was surely untrue!).

2. Did LE do a complete forensics lab test of PK's kitchen? I'm a good/clean housekeeper, but let's face it.....if LE came into our kitchen with a forensics team, they'd know what we and our birds ate three days ago!

3. Were there any remnants of the cake in/near the garage?

4. Did LE check PK's car for cake crumbs?

5. Do we have anyone else's word for it that AG liked PK's cakes and that the cake-giving was a yearly ritual?

6. Why wouldn't AG greet PK in order to accept the cake - why have him open the garage door?

7. Was Mrs. PK questioned about this cake?

8. How did AG eat an entire bundt cake alone? She seemed to never invite people indoors, so how did she share it?

9. Could PK have been inside AG's house all night long (with his car parked in a remote area) and then drive up at the exact time he said he was to arrive? Let's face it, AG didn't live on Bloor Street in Toronto, so it would be fairly easy for him/someone to hide a car and not get a parking ticket.

I'm not meaning to sound like a smart alek here, but didn't I say waaaaaaaay back when that the CAKE could be the the crux of this whole case?

And now Mrs. PK and others:

1. Why didn't she go along with him to deliver the cake? (I know, he said 'she had to work').

2. Do LE have PROOF that he drove her to work and that she was indeed at work?

3. What about her parents and his parents - how were they involved with their engaged chldren at Christmas season?

4. How well did Mrs. PK know AG?

5. Did PK's brothers know AG? If so, how?

6. Are his brothers' whereabouts accounted for on the night of the murder?

7. Did LE check grocery stores, etc. to see if the PK's purchased the ingredients for the cake?

8. Was a bundt pan found in the PK household?

Sorry but I totally stink at reading between the lines. What does that mean? LOL.

Reviewing and rehashing some old posts ...

from:
Websleuths Crime Sleuthing Community - View Single Post - Audrey Gleave, retired teacher, viciously murdered in home, Ancaster Ontario, #2

... Hmm... "comfortable" is a somewhat ambiguous term I suppose. After 5 years I was able to work outside with the dogs running freely but only with AG close at my side . They were exceptionally protective and were always waiting for a moment of inattentiveness from AG so they could have a little nip at me.

I've owned dogs pretty much my whole life, and specifically shepherds for many years ... and yes, they are very protective, however I have never known a shepherd (or any breed) who got to know a person still intimidating after such a length of time.

Oh for crying out loud - "with Audrey close at my side"? What were they, Siamese twins?

PK is making waaaaaay too much of this so-called friendship. When a handiman comes to my house, I leave the poor guy alone to do his job properly!

 • #914
And one more thing (I'm on a roll here):

How can we be certain that Audrey attended PK's wedding? Did we see any photos? Were we told if she went alone or with someone? How did she get to the wedding? Did PK send a limo for his dear friend?

Bottom line: Pretty much everything we've been told by PK is questionable to say the least! No garden! THE CAKE!! Now......where are the wedding photos of PK with his bestest friend on earth!! His BFF!!

Excellent point!!!
Also, (not going to look for the link) I remember reading about the dogs behaviour after they were taken in and that guy didn't mention them being badly behaved at all. Just that the one dog didn't want to be caged.

; from earlier: "How do we even KNOW that a cake was baked and delivered to Audrey? (The garden story was surely untrue!)"

Errr ... I have seen this repeated a few times in semi-recent posts: how do we know, for certain, there was no garden? Because one is not evident now does not invalidate its former possibility -- particularly if its genesis is "rooted" in an early point in their relationship. I know there have been discussions about this garden with neighbours and others, but ... can we really "surely" know PK never helped Audrey plant??

The "everything" you mention above, NSU, involved two examples, cake and garden, and I can't see that either have been confirmed untrue. I am not suggesting that we don't have the right to speculate. But conclusions are something else! Is there a way to emphasize the questionability rather then assertion? Or maybe I am reading the post as more assertive than it means to be?

Please: I don't mean any disrespect in my response. I appreciate all the good sleuthing being done here to try and push for justice through knowledge. But I can't help also quietly thinking to myself (and now not-so-quietly here): heaven help any of us if we find ourselves under scrutiny because of circumstances of closeness to another! AGAIN: I would expect suspicion to fall on all possibilities -- but with careful and close attention to the critical distinction between fact and opinion. The Amber Kirwan thread on UC was closed for a long time expressly because of the legal implications of assertion in the absence of fact.

Sorry if this seems strongly worded. I can't help it; I indeed feel strongly about it, and out of respect for us all. And out of deep respect for you, too, NSU, and all the impassioned work you do here. Maybe the problem is more with the way I am reading and responding than the actual content of your post. But I still wanted to wave my red flag ... if tentatively.

<rsbm>

Things get kinda fuzzy over time, but I'm not sure we heard one way or another if AG was to attend the wedding ... just that she had been trying to find a photographer to take pics. IMO, AG sounds like the type who would be helpful behind the scenes, but shun large social gatherings (even if she was invited).

I recall PK telling us that Audrey was reluctant to attend the wedding but, finally after much pushing from hm (that's paraphrased) she relented and DID attend the wedding.

The link is here somewhere!

Chorley, Chorley ... I have to apologize re the "missing" as it relates to AG's body. Just stumbled across this as I was searching for something else ... SS Hrab made reference to it as follows:

from:
http://www.thespec.com/news/local/article/595858--who-is-audrey-gleave

He spoke of a vicious stabbing but did not talk about other weapons — at least one other had been used — or the nature of the “sexual component” (it had included a perverse act that went beyond a conventional assault; the killer had taken something from the victim as though making off with a souvenir.)

 • #920
Re sillybilly's post above - so there was a sexual component which included taking a trophy! (That is at least implied).

WOW, I had forgotten that part.

LE simply has to get this monster.......:moo:
