TO THOSE WHO USE FACEBOOK:

- when was the page for Audrey set up?

- was it set up by MK as SB pointed out?

- other than a "memory page" does there seem to be another reason for having the FB page?

Hey Stone, I'm no Facebook expert, but here's what I can tell you. The Memorial page for Audrey Gleave is an open Group - that is, anyone can join and see all posts made to the wall, and can submit / upload photos. There are nearly 300 members, the majority of whom are affiliated through Westdale and Barton secondary schools or local acquaintances from Brantford/Ancaster, with a scattering of McMaster or academic contacts. Most members of the group appear to have joined "over a year ago." A few names are familiar from MSM coverage and the Jon Wells articles. Who actually put up the page is not available in its "About" section, just a list of members. I don't think MK was necessarily one of the originators, because I noticed several other people accepting others into the group.

No, there is no readily apparent reason for the page other than as a memorial page.

If you scroll all the way to the bottom of the posts on the FB page, it indicates that a man with initials JT created the group Dec 31 2011 @ 6:40 p.m. I have not heard his name in any other connection to AG. It appears that perhaps any member can accept new people into the group.

Is it against TOS to post those initials? If so, I'll delete, thanks

Yes, i see that other members have added names to the group. IMO, that's a strange FB feature. I'd be totally ticked if someone added my name to a group. If i wanted to join a specific group, i'd simply sign up myself. (Ahhh .. many too many years in crime forums )

I thought her maiden name was a "D"? but I am not certain, if you tell me what it was, then I can comment... and it seems like this fellow may have been a former student, I would guess from the comments others have made to him (like - thanks for posting, so many of us have now moved away and wouldn't have known).

There are 226 members. Seems to be a lot of AG's students, writing condolences and memories of AG. They also posted links to media and pics from yearbooks.
Seems to be a couple of neighbours in this group as well.

The maiden name was Todd, so different from that of the FB page owner. The owner appears to be a concerned Hamiltonian, and local business person.

While reading on the thread for the missing teacher Sandra Evans in Calgary her daughter posted that the lack of missing keys could be explained by her leaving through the garage door.

And then, this is the interesting part imo, stated that the key code was required to close the garage door upon exiting.

So, if the property was sold to private individuals in Feb 2011, why is there a real estate development company (shown as owners now) involved in development of the property in 2012? .. with such development being equal to the stated value of the entire property in 2011?

Hmmmm - it was flipped? One can get this info on-line in a couple of hours for about $65.00. Normal business hours.

I think the $450K is in addition to the land cost - ie the cost to put up a house. 404.3 square metres isn't a huge house though.

That's what I mean ... a value of $425,000 in 2011, house razed so buyer really only wanted the land, and somebody not only bought the land for approx $425,000 but has another $450,000 to put into development. Some serious cash going on around that property.
