JV's only FB friend I can find at this point (BS) has an MG on her FB ... MG is an Assistant Manager at Ghawk (but Gormley, not Oville).

I hope that you don't mind if I jump in here. I am interested in Audrey's case, and truly care about her--possibly in light of the fact that she doesn't seem to have anyone who knew her, advocating for her. This really bothers me. Maybe she was unlikeable and difficult, and they merely tolerated her. I don't care--I like her.

You have been super-sleuthing lately, and I am very impressed. There is one point that hasn't been addressed about the JV who was arrested in Florida. He is gay and is a pedophile. This could sensibly exclude him from being a suspected killer/attacker of women...especially in AG's case, where we know that there was a sexual component.

It seems to be a stretch, in spite of all the new found discoveries, which I admit, are most compelling. Just a thought.

Just want to clarify.. I wasn't dismissing Safarik at all ... he is a retired FBI profiler. It is the profiling by the crime writer that I am a bit dubious about.

Unsure of the orientation of JV, but Clifford Olson's victims were male and female, some young, some young-adult. No exclusions for him.

Early on in Audrey Gleave's case we heard that she was upset one day because a horse she owned had died. There is nothing else to indicate that Audrey rode horses or was involved in the riding community. She was an animal lover. Is it possible that she adopted a "retired" horse as a charitable gesture in support of a friend?

Also, another strange connection to horses. "Amazing Grace" is not an uncommon name for horses...Google "Amazing Grace Horse(s)".

I've seen two pictures of JV's hands. He has a "club thumb" on his left hand. (I don't know how to post the pics but if someone else does, I'll send them the links...) I have no idea if such an "anomaly" would show up in a fingerprint but if LE has prints, it might have some relevance.

I am aware that serial, lust killers can target both males and females, as is the case for Clifford Olson, and many others. I think it would be very unusual for a lust motivated killer, whose fantasies are directed toward young victims, to cross over to an elderly woman.

Although Russell Williams was into child , his fantasies were directed toward females only.

I guess the most plausible reason to connect JV with AG would be, as RoseofSharon noted--many gay men have a hatred for women (especially Mother figures). That concept doesn't really fit with the SL and SV cases though. moo

The concept of rage against women in general could fit. What is interesting in many cases is the rage isn't taken out against the women they are the closest too. AFAIK, neither Olson or Williams were wife-beaters. It seems that those who kill their wives generally don't kill other women, and vice versa.

IF (and we don't know this to be true) Audrey didn't attend the Christmas dinner at LV's because JV and/or his parents were going to be there, I could see that insult/rejection causing a rage in a person so inclined.

To SB - thanks for pointing out that I had SV and SL confused :blushing: about the car.

So, now I have another point - if I recall correctly SL's cars/trucks were left untouched in her driveway.......like Audrey's car was left! Is that right?

In my humble opinion, the SL attack would have gone farther (like SV and AG) but something/someone interrupted the perp. Perhaps school buses coming by? Perhaps a newspaper person? The mailman? A client coming to see SL's photography.

I wonder if SL is able now to speak to LE about her attacker. lease:

And finally for now - regarding the profilers. I'll take the FBI/RCMP any day over someone who profiles as a hobby or to sell books.

My money is still on Mark Safarik - "look young and look close".

Speculation only ...

If the JV arrested in Wellington, Florida is the nephew of LAV and is involved with the murder of AG, a strong connection would be the fact that AG had known JV all his life, as LAV and AG were friends before JV was born and the friendship continued for over thirty years, until AG was murdered and I feel the motive for the murder was money ..... not inherited money by his aunt, LAV, but money he thought might be in AG's home, i.e. fast cash.

As time passes, this is making me CRAZY!! It tells me that Hamilton Police were quite certain that the killer would either be lurking here or posting here.

I'm wondering if Hamilton Police have collaborated with the Orangeville Police. It would be logical that they have been in touch with each other.

I'm pretty sure this happened in the Tim Bosma threads as well, and it was happening because of a link someone had put up for something from Hamilton Police. I have been searching, trying to find the references to it, but no luck so far.
