The delivery of the large items would take at least 2 people, so there are more strangers to see Audrey's home and situation.

Indeed, and with some items they might have needed an electrician for safe hook-ups.

I would hope LE had talked/looked at all these people who had been in Audrey's home. I hope they are actively working on this case.

I've been thinking about that wall-mounted convection oven. Was it the type that simply attached to the wall with some type of shelving bracket, or was it an "in the wall" type installation that required a cutting tool to make the opening in the wall? Wondering if that saw-type tool that LE located near the grounds was, or may have been used as a drywall saw.

Anyone know where we can find that pic again? (I bet Hazel has it up her sleeve somewhere ;))

IIRC, I think it was a hack saw that was found. I remember at that time thinking someone must have been trimming smaller type branches. Sorry, I can't find a link.

IMO

IIRC, that saw LE found had a blue (plastic?????) handle. It looked somewhat small, almost like a 'minor implement'. Maybe for a child?????? That said, I'm sure it could have done some damage to a human being.

Then again, who would give a child a workable saw? (I'm rambling now........)

...........................
Strangers at Audrey's house ----->

- TV guy (delivery and hook-up)
- mailbox smasher
- A/C installation guy
- lawn mower delivery guy
- convection oven guy
- people hanging around the cemetery
- male (??) seen walking up her driveway with a backpack
- mail man/woman

Anyone else...........

I would like to know whether it was really a backpack or might be a messenger bag (shoulder bag) such as i.e. for photographers?

I would like to know wether it was really a backpack or might be a messenger bag (shoulder bag) such as i.e. for photographers?

I hadn't thought of that! Why do you think it might not have been a "regular" backpack? You have my curiosity piqued now! :)

BTW: My husband is a Nature photographer (as a hobby) and his camera bag goes on his shoulder not on his back.

FromGermany kindly expand on your thoughts here.

Thanks.......:seeya:

Also :seeya: to you, NSU!

Let me speak cautiously: I have a pic saved but may not post it. This person on my pic always has his shoulder bag with him with some Nikon cameras inside (or sometimes perhaps something other). The person belongs to Audrey's good acquaintances and was once politely at an elevator door or so.
If the witness really saw a backpack, then I can stop my considerations. :)

Oh, thanks kindly FromGermany!! :tyou: Before I came back on my computer I was wondering if the person with the so-called "backpack" was a person delivering advertisements.

But your explanation makes more sense.

Hmmm...............

------------------------

ETA: Someone please remind me - when was the "backpack" person seen? Because I'm now wondering if Audrey had been 'interviewing' photographers for the handyman's wedding photos? Just a thought on my part......... :dunno:

Hi sorry I couldn't answer sooner but our power has been out with the ice storm. I am really sorry I seemed to have upset people.
To clarify, I am speculating that maybe A.G thought someone had been coming into the house. That's why she said she was going to the coffee group so that person would think the house was empty during that time. In my theory she crated the dogs because she wasn't afraid, just ticked off. Then I believe the person entered through the garage door where she was waiting/smoking.
Again, sorry to those I offended.

Re the photography aspect .. that's where I was going with the foil. It can be used in low budget photography/filmography for lighting purposes ... to reflect light or black out light.

All's good and it's a good theory ... one that could possibly explain some of the things we've wondered about.

Glad you have power again, C4 ... stay warm !! I have elderly relatives in TO who went 5 days without power, and I've been worried sick about them. Thankfully it was restored late this morning.

Canadian4, I'm happy you have power back again. That's a long time without heat in the depths of winter. :)

  • #555
Canadian4, I don't post often, but I think you may really be on to something… It is the first theory that makes sense to me… and it sounds like something Audrey might do.

Good thoughts, Canadian4. And it would be so Audrey. Playing a trick on someone. (You warm up now, OK?) :seeya:

That is a good and plausible theory C4 - it accounts for the crating of the dogs and LE's statement AG knew her killer.

I'm wondering when Audrey's friend from Mohawk College returned from vacation. The Spec only says "after Christmas".

:twocents:

He learned of his AG's passing/murder upon his return from vacation (I have read). He has his own website with many subtitles, where he gives his perspective on many subjects. He is an interesting writer. I didn't realize he was also retired.

I did note in his blog, however, he says he did not do well in science and math in school, yet, he knew what a baryon was. How many of us knew what a baryon was before we read about it in AG's forum?

Regarding the black bag ... I also wondered at the time if this was a geocacher in the cemetery who went up to AG's door maybe asking to use the facilities. Geocachers carry many items, so would also use a bag of some sort.

IMO

Three years ago today, AG received soup at the door from LV. - RIP A ... we are still trying to bring your killer(s) to justice!

Yes, ROS I think I read that Audrey helped him create his website. (I'll try to find the Spec article with that info in it).

I also read that he's a wedding photographer (hence, my thinking Audrey that she possibly asked about him doing the photos for the handyman's wedding).

LINK: http://www.thespec.com/news-story/2215939-who-is-audrey-gleave/

John was a wedding photographer. He asked Audrey for scripting tips when creating his website and credited her on the site when it was complete. He liked and respected her. He got the impression that, while she had a big heart, she chose her friends judiciously and had little patience for those who were lazy or hypocritical, and that there was no shortage of such people.

He was one of several people on her email contact list. She emailed each person separately, never as a group. It was a privacy thing. More unusual was Audrey’s insistence that anyone emailing refer to her as Baryon, or Bary, even within the text of a message.

ETA: And three years ago today was the last known time Audrey was heard from. We'll keep at it, Audrey. :rose:

ETA more from my link:

Not long after Christmas, XXXXX came home from a vacation. He saw it on the TV news. An elderly woman who lived alone in the country with two dogs had been stabbed, murdered in her home. The victim’s name appeared on the screen.

“My goodness,” said John to his wife, feeling his heart drop. “That’s Baryon.”

We don't really know when he got home from vacation.:twocents:

PLEASE NOTE: I've deleted his last name and added XXXX in order to not sleuth innocent people.
