Snipped and bolded by me.

Best. Plan. Ever.

:tyou:

You know, that plan seems to be the only logical way the Will would be in Audrey's purse!! :drumroll:

Maybe Audrey left the purse in the home and carried her wallet, that is what I do. She doesn't exactly strike me as the purse carrying type. I have many purses but I rarely take them out. One does some important things in it too, and I don't take it out either. IMO

For me, it's the sum of all the parts.

Would dearly love to know why LE is going with AG knew her killer. The confined dogs? Closed garage doors? Apparently no bloody footprints in the garage (or so we've heard)? Items from the house found in a ground search - so not missing? Staged scene? Lack of forensics? E-mail content and timing? Events and lack of events after the fact? Discrepancies of some sort somewhere?

I'm short on hope anyone will ever be hauled before a court/judge/jury to face charges for this gruesome murder.

Yes, I also only carry my wallet when going to places that will have me home fairly quickly - grocery shopping, Shoppers Drug Mart, buying gas. BUT, when I plan to be away from home for a longer time (like when Audrey went to the coffee group or to LV's for visits) I take my purse with all of the "necessities" in it.

My wallet carries all important info - car insurance, car ownership, credit cards, SIN, OHIP card.

BTW, didn't we see a pic of Audrey with a purse on her arm? I think it was one of the pics with the car. A black purse. (Am I imagining things??)

Quoted from Woodland:

I *think* it's because there was no forced entry.

Speaking of 'no forced entry' elimination:

When one takes a car to General Motors for servicing, GM refuses to take all of the car owner's keys. No house keys. No workplace keys. Nothing other than the keys to the car and the car opener.

Just thought of that in the last few minutes.

:twocents:

ETA:

And the keys cannot be copied because there's a computer chip in each car's key which allows it to only open that particular car. My car key would NOT be able to open Audrey's car even though they are similar and both from GM.

I see the incorrect date of Jan 31, 2010 FromGermany, in the McMaster newsletter dated Spring 2011 - this will open on my ipad but not my laptop for some reason.

Wonder how Mcmaster was informed of AG's passing. It is a shame.

Someone want to inform the Mods what is at the link since we can't access it?

 • #1,012
It's very brief Lambchop - the In Memoriam list on page 32, McMaster University newsletter Spring 2011 edition.

Audrey Gleave '66 died Jan. 31,
2010 in Lynden, Ont. A retired
science teacher, she was well-
respected by her students and
will be sadly missed by her many
friends.

Printed exactly as above.

I posted a reply to this post/question - but it was deleted.

IT WAS MERELY MY OPINION. Hope this isn't also deleted.

Okay, 2010 is before my time as a MOD so could you be so kind as to enlighten me as to why it is significant so that I can decided whether to reapprove a post or not. Thanks, Lambchop

[modsnip]

The significance, Lambchop, is that Audrey Gleave's death date - as it appears in the publication from her alma mater - is off by almost a year. While the actual day between December 27 and December 30, 2010 upon which AG died is not information known outside of LE, it was in that time period - long after January 31, 2010. I think it begs the question of who would have provided such erroneous information to McMaster, and even why. Of course, it could be as innocent as a typo or transposition. If not, though... again... why.

To me it looks as if it was a typo. If it were listed as December 28th, I would be thinking wait a minute she was not discovered until the 30th so how would they know that. Is it possible they corrected the error in a future publication? This was in the news so I'm sure someone who knew her passed that information on to them and it's possible someone wrote down the wrong date. I would hope someone caught it before now. Thanks

<bbm>

It WAS corrected in the Fall of 2011 , and is on Pg 17 in the following Alumni newsletter:

http://www.mcmaster.ca/opr/html/opr/publications/mcmaster_times/archives/TimesFall2011spreads_Lo.pdf

CORRECTION: Audrey Gleave
’66 died on Dec. 30, 2010. An
incorrect date appeared in the
previous edition of the Times.

Always it had been discussed about the explicit violence re Audrey's death. HPS expresses it as "particularly violent attack". That's new for me.

http://www.hamiltonpolice.on.ca/HPS/CrimeFiles/Help+Us+Solve+This+Crime/gleave.htm

Yes, Hrab said that right at the beginning. Maybe we have been confused because when the body was found it was described as a simple slip on the ice.

THE ABOVE IS MY OWN RECOLLECTION OF THE DAY AUDREY'S BODY WAS DISCOVERED. SHALL TRY TO FIND A LINK.

ETA LINK:

Here's the link telling about possibly slipping on ice:
