I think the timing is key. Whatever happened was related to her leaving for Florida in a few days. It had to happen when it did or it was too late. Whether that was murder suicide or a double murder. That means Honey was as much a target as Barry. Otherwise it could have waited until she left.

So who would know she was going to Florida besides her kids? The staff, Barry mentioning it to someone in his business? Also wonder what his CEO who's girlfriend worked as a whistleblower at Teva thinks about all of this. He must be in a state of shock.

Credit goes to Peace777 for finding this article. Gonna raise some eyebrows I think.

Note the basement meetings in Bridle Path.

This one might raise the hair on the back of anyone's neck, imo.

I'm getting the impression that we can't believe anything attributed to "police sources" unless the names of the officers are mentioned, and we can't believe named homicide detectives if they don't repeat their statements frequently. It seems like this discussion is about doubting everything we know in order to believe something that has not been said. This approach to understanding what really happened is new to me.

Please don’t attribute that attitude to me, especially based on the post you quoted. I never said I didn’t still believe what they said two weeks ago. I was simply countering what seemed like a quote implying a police comment supporting your view was said recently. That’s all.

I do believe what is attributed to police sources and they don’t have to be named. Nor do they have to repeat them frequently. BUT, I do not believe dogmatic attitudes have any place on any thread, and I will counter them when I think it’s needed.

All of us are entitled to our opinions or fence-sitting, for whatever reasons we have reached those positions. Based on what we have heard so far, I lean toward murder-suicide. But I also recognize that this is an ongoing investigation and that I am not privy to what has been gathered in the past two weeks. I prefer to keep an open mind, waiting for further information. A dogmatic approach to understanding what happened is new to me.

I don't think she was a whistle blower, more like and industrial spy.BBM

If this is double murder with all his lawsuits, this will take ALOT of investigating.

Police have only said that they died of ligature strangulation once, and no one is expecting that to be repeated or changed. That is taken at face value. Why would be believe police statements that they died of ligature strangulation and not believe police statements that they are not looking for "outstanding" suspects.

Wow, this thread keeps on going and going. Of course it's interesting, and sad, but I only wish that everyday people had the same attention. :(

Exactly what I have been thinking, it could take months to get a full picture, not just the lawsuits but all his deals.

She had a wide network and was talkative. I think a lot of people knew.

Ultra sad to say but they may never get a full picture...

You’ve read my posts. Why are you asking me these questions? Never mind. I’m done.

I guess what I was getting at is that whoever did it targeted Honey not just Barry. Who would that be? It could be Barry in a fit or rage or depressed funk. It could be someone who wants to punish Barry by killing his wife and then killing him. I don't think it is someone who just needs Barry out of the picture for some reason related to his business or otherwise. If that were the case, it would have been much easier to wait for Honey to be gone to Florida.

The Old Forest Hill Rd. property was transferred to Honey for $0 in 2016 from Abraham J. Green Ltd. The property was once owned by another prominent couple in philanthropic circles and the Jewish community, the late Al and Malka Green. Honey and Malka were both directors at the Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center for Holocaust Studies.

Hi Otto,

I am not sure about the boots that the "Frank" magazine mentioned.

"Jackets pulled down onto their arms" threw me off. It made me think it had to be a double murder.

However, after reading other posts and researching on my own - this could be possible.

At first I didn't want to discuss what the sources were saying about the men's belts and the jackets but I was wrong.

Up until today I felt this was a double murder. I have my doubts now.
