I suspected it was a double homicide from the get go.
Glad the family will get some answers and hopefully the perp/s who committed the murder of their parents will be found. (I think TPS may have an idea who was involved) JMO
Then the sudden resignation of Apotex President and CEO today. Interesting outcome, plot thickens....

I'm confused by "confirmed". If I heard the LE presser correctly, all of the above should be confirmed, no?

The Sherman family released a statement after the police news conference.

“The announcement by the Toronto Police Service that the tragic deaths of their parents are being investigated as a double homicide was anticipated by the Sherman family,” the statement read. “This conclusion was expressed by the family from the outset and is consistent with the findings of the independent autopsy and investigation.
“The family continues to support the Toronto Police Service in their efforts to seek justice for their parents and pursue those responsible for these unspeakable crimes.”

Former Toronto police Det. Martin Woodhouse, part of Klatt Investigations, hired by the Sherman family, arrived at the home. Woodhouse pulled his car into the driveway and took out a small video camera, appearing to film the outside of the house.

Woodhouse spoke with private security, who arrived around the time police left.

The private security then put up their own caution tape around the property, replacing the police tape that the officers just removed.

A private security company hired to secure the Sherman house has put up their own tape to replace the police tape. They expect to be in the house for weeks.
The Sherman family has been told by Klatt’s team to not go to the house. Klatt will conduct his own forensic investigation of the scene and ask for or go to court to access Toronto Police’s final report.

From this article it sounds like the resigning CEO was crooked from the very beginning of his employment at Apotex.
He was hired in 2014 and the trade secret stealing from Teva started in 2014 it sounds like Hmmm (by his then "girlfriend"

Sorry, the "confirmed" points were the things we had heard previously, but hadn't received TPS confirmation.
Obviously everything on the list from today's presser is confirmed.

I was very surprised that most reporters "gasped" when LE announced a double homicide during the live presser. Personally, I've always thought this to be a double homicide. I'm wondering if the killer(s) are a little on edge?!
