[h=1]Apotex Deal is Bigger than Most Realize[/h] It’s a little disturbing to think about Barry and Honey Sherman – Barry is the founder of Apotex, Canada’s largest generic drug manufacturer and employer to over 10,000 individuals – being strangled to death in their luxury home in Toronto, despite being among Canada’s wealthiest couples. But that’s neither here nor there for CannTrust.

What matters is that Apotex filled 89,000 prescriptions last year – more than any other pharmaceutical company in Canada, public or private. They distribute their products in over 115 countries (I think that’s nearly all of them?), and is the 7th largest distributor in the world.

Okay, Apotex is in the cannabis business, I am sure as well Apotex is into opiates and amphetamines and other drugs that are used recreationally and illegally by some individuals.

Is there some linkage between the Sherman's deaths, cannabis and a motivation for wanting them dead?

Exactly. I know for years drug companies were preparing for legalization. To think otherwise is silly. They go into areas where native people live all over the world researching medicines they use so they can be analyzed and synthesized.

The problem with plants is that they are not standard. Sun, rain, soil, insects all change the composition of what is in a plant. Two growing right next to each other can be different.

Barry Sherman’s cousin to undergo ‘disability’ assessment as billion-dollar appeal continues

Kerry Winter, cousin of murdered billionaire Barry Sherman, will be assessed to determine if he has a mental “disability” that would prevent him from representing himself in an ongoing case to claim a share of the Apotex founder’s riches.

That’s the reason commercial grow facilities exist. Consistent production, identical plant composition to yield identical THC and CBD content in all like strains of plants. Genetically engineered plants and consistent growing conditions produce consistent results.
BS imo was not killed because of his involvement in the cannibis business.

We do not know whether robbery has played a role in the murders, although the earring that was found outside afterward was intriguing, so just noting these recent arrests, fwiw, imo, speculation.

April 5, 2018 Police have busted an organized group of more than a dozen Chilean nationals who allegedly broke into some 400 homes in the Toronto area, looting approximately $2.7 million in valuables since December.

Halton Regional Police announced on Wednesday that 14 Chilean nationals have been arrested in connection with the alleged break-ins. Ten of those individuals face a total of 45 charges in Halton, including break-and-enter, possession of property obtained by crime over $5, 000 and possession of break-and-enter tools, they announced on Wednesday. The other four face charges in York Region.

Police say every individual involved in the case is a Chilean national with no children in the country.

The other side of Barry Sherman

Barry and Honey Sherman were beloved philanthropists. But he lived amid feuding family members, endless lawsuits and corporate espionage. What really happened before their tragic deaths.

The police and forensic accountants will be busy with this for many years to come.

All of these Sherm companies, numbered companies and his/her other business dealings are so very complex and intertwined. He had enemies for many decades so why was Honey targeted??

Wonder if we will ever know the truth on this one. Not unless someone walks into a police station with proof that they did it IMO.

On Dec. 12, 2017, the day before the couple was last seen alive, Honey missed a scheduled meeting at the Baycrest Centre Foundation. Were it any other board member, no one would’ve paid heed, says Josh Cooper, the foundation’s president and CEO. But Honey, a beloved queen bee in the upper echelons of Canadian philanthropy, was known for showing up—or else saying she couldn’t. “It was bizarre,” says Cooper. They sent an email to make sure she was okay. “Honey got back to us right away,” he says. “She said she was dealing with some stuff.”

This right here.

(excellent article in Macleans, my Lord, what great depth there, fascinating)

Few more points here:

-Barry made Honey take back the red sports car she bought him for his 50th birthday party (she presented in front of a crowd of friends).

-All the variances for their new property for their 16,000 square foot home - why would they need a car stacker in their garage? Vehicles seemed very important to Honey, while Barry drove a beater. Can't help but wonder on this ongoing rift regarding vehicles.

-Regarding their homestead that was poorly constructed and after years of litigation - they recouped $2 million of the $2.3 million construction cost (in 1991). They had recently listed it for $6.9 million. Could that have been the breaking point for one of the original contractors who was taken by the Sherman's litigation, and caused something nefarious to happen? (A stretch - I know)

With all of those variances, obviously there is not enough room for a three car garage. So, a car stacker is needed

Honey was targeted because, if she was not killed, she would likely have quickly determined who had arranged the murders. The Sherman's might have some prior notice of their impending deaths, such as " if you do such and such, it will be your end"

Holy smokes . What a complicated web to follow the money trail.
Sorry to say but Barry I think pushed the limits to far. What a shyster. Was he never happy in life unless he was doing "deals" or getting into lawsuits? Money doesn't make the world go round JMO

What if for some reason it was just Honey who was the target? And it would be Barry who knew who had it in for his wife? So he had to be murdered too. In the Macleans article Honey had said in an e-mail "she was dealing with some stuff" What was the stuff? Hmmm
