KD thinks the NW is a lookout, but we don’t know why.

Does it seem unlikely that a person of small stature would kill two people on his own? Without a gun? How would he bind Honey’s wrists for example? Wouldn’t that be hard to do reliably by one person without clunking her over the head (for example), and without risk she could get away or get a phone call off? Especially when Barry was right on her heels coming home? It’s a small window of time that the killer(s) was with Honey without Barry. I believe that the killer(s) knew it was a small window— meaning they knew Barry was going to be home early/en route home.

Also, why not break in and kill them both in the night? Unless the killer(s) needed access to the home via a ride in or Honey letting them in, for example. Or the killer(s) knew the alarm would be set and couldn’t or didn’t want to disarm it.

I do not believe, NW's height would preclude him from being the killer. Both Jackie Chan and Chuck Norris the actors and martial arts specialists are said to be 5' 8 1/2 ", Bruce Lee was said to be an inch shorter. (Remember they are using Hollywood tape measures.) Any similar trained martial arts person would have no trouble immobilizing and killing two senior citizens.

As for the NW being a lookout, a lookout for what? Cops driving up Old Colony?
From the outside nothing looked out of ordinary at the Sherman home. Nobody, not even the neighbours noticed anything unusual at the Sherman home for three days. No lookout was needed, and why involve an extra person if they did not have a key role to play.

Finally, whomever orchestrated this would not choose the NW from a group of easily identifiable associates.

'I ask Joe my cousin to help me kill someone. Joe is seen on camera, and the police identify him. How many hours do you think after questioning Cousin Joe the police will be at my door? To my mind, it is too risky to have someone regularly associated with me involved.'

Since the cost of hiring people to do this job, was never an issue, I have high confidence that the NW was from overseas.
I am starting to discount the idea of mine, of the revenge killer, someone angry with the Sherman's who was not associated with the family or business.

A revenge killer would not likely go to the trouble of strangling and staging the bodies in the Sherman home.

I also am curious if the TPS will hold a Press Conference this December about the case. I bet the public has forgotten about the $35 million reward.

Strength and height/stature are not necessarily inclusive or exclusive. It varies from individual to individual. It seems that the NW was more on the heavier build side. Was the gait intentional inorder to obscure footprints?
If the NW used the backyard to get into the house, there must have been some footprints in the snow and/or mud. Otherwise the kicking of the feet could serve to obscure them similar to dragging the feet across.

New warrant in Barry and Honey Sherman murders focuses on business deals

The latest search warrant in the nearly six-year-old murder probe zeroed in on investments made through Barry Sherman’s personal holding company.

The Star previously has said the police believe Honey and Barry were murdered between 9:00-12:00. This is the last sentence from the article you linked: ‘They were murdered between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Dec. 13.’

Ann Brocklehurst previously highlighted the section about Stanley Lubinsky that KD mentioned today.

He had a jewelry business with Barry that was located on Martin Ross Avenue in the GTA, which is the same name of Allen S.’s jewelry company that Barry funded that went bankrupt. Are the two names a coincidence or is there a connection? I found two addresses for Shechtman’s Martin Ross company but neither were on Martin Ross Ave.

One address for the Martin Ross Group was 250 Canarctic Drive, which was close to 106-108 Martin Ross.

ETA: Reposting a link to my previous post. One month before the police search warrant a lawyer for one of the numbered Sherfam companies asked the government to revive the company. It had been dissolved without dispersing an $8 million apartment that included retail stores.

If Hendler’s call was about a mortgage for investment property he didn’t know anything of until December 13th, what was Honey emailing Hendler’s law firm repeatedly about? Even on the day they were killed?

Barry owned the home and had contacted Lubinsky personally about signing it over, from what has been made public there’s no indication Honey was involved.

ETA: I missed this the first time I read Ann Brocklehurst’s substack, but she found that Doug Hendler had represented Barry many times:

“The agreement was prepared by Douglas Hendler of the firm of Armel, Cohen, Stieber. He had acted many times for Dr. Bernard Sherman, the owner of Apotex and majority owner of Bruce Agra.”

I am sorry. Jon Sherman and Brad Krawczyk were close. I would say that for the past 12 months that has changed. I know someone who was at an event and both JS and BK attended.
They did not speak to each other the entire evening. I have now heard through the grapevine that they are definitely not friends any more.

Everyone has theories. Including you, me, and everyone that has been following this case. And AK. But they’re all just theories.

I believe, I JUST had read it here on WS, that BK was friends with JS before he got to know Alex better. Otherwise I hadn't thought this way.
Doesn't really matter; I'm wrong so often, it seems.
