Brandon Tucker, seen here at work as a personal care attendant, was last seen Friday morning in Gander. (Family of Brandon Tucker)

''The partner of a missing man in Gander is urging anyone with information on the whereabouts of Brandon Tucker to contact police immediately.

Brandon Tucker, 29, was last seen Friday morning, and a family member told CBC News his phone was last active that afternoon. Police and search and rescue crews have taken the search by foot and by air, with a drone. A police dog has also been scouring the Gander area.

Tucker's partner, Travis Gleason, said he has reason to believe Tucker is not in a "great frame of mind" and that there is concern for his mental wellbeing.

"We're devastated, we're terrified, we're heartbroken. We just want him home," said Gleason in an interview Monday afternoon.

The RCMP said Tucker was reported missing around 4 p.m. on Friday, and the police are asking residents to check their properties, sheds or exterior storage buildings.''

I wonder what he's got going on in his life that has him potentially in a bad frame of mind. A history of mental illness wasn't mentioned.

I looked into his partner Travis a bit online. Seems very well liked and respected in his professional community.

''Search and rescue operators say they're awaiting further direction from the RCMP regarding search efforts for 29-year-old Brandon Tucker.

Tucker was last seen on a trail in the Gander area on July 8.

Roger Goobie, executive director of the Newfoundland and Labrador Search and Rescue Association, told CBC News on Wednesday that crews from Gander, Glovertown and Grand Falls-Windsor have conducted numerous searches for the missing man, exhausting all resources.

The latest search ran from about 4 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday night, with a group of nearly 35 volunteers.

Now, the organization is awaiting further direction from local authorities. CBC News has reached out to the RCMP for further information, but has yet to receive a response.''

A Newfoundland family is pleading for help from the public as the search for 29-year-old Brandon Tucker enters its second month. [snip] The family offered a $10,000 reward this week for anyone who has information about Tucker's location that leads to his physical recovery: anyone who may have given him shelter or picked him up along the highway could help, she said. They've received only one phone call, she said, which didn't lead anywhere.

The remains of a missing 29-year-old Gander man have been recovered, police said Saturday morning.

Brandon Tucker's body was found in a forested area between Gander Lake and the Trans Canada Highway, according to the RCMP.

They say the office of the chief medical examiner has confirmed the remains are Tucker's, but add that the RCMP doesn't suspect foul play.

''His partner, Travis Gleason, previously told CBC News that Tucker was a musician and gamer with a love of reading and comic books. He said his partner's disappearance was "completely out of character."
"Brandon is the sweetest, kindest, most gentle person that you will ever meet," Gleason said at the time.''
